Honestly, A Dream within a Dream is genius. I love how this drama is not only mocking some tropes in C-dramas but also skillfully playing with our emotion.
While we are sad and emotionally involve in a scene, it suddenly turn into comedy and we chuckle, or laugh out loud. A minute later, a scene make us so mad we want to throw our phone.
It's much more better than TPOB. However, not many people can enjoy A Dream within a Dream because it's exceptionally creative.
