Viewers are biased because they love Liu Yuning. Well, yes, they sympathize with Nan Heng, but they forget to empathize with Song Yimeng. She didn't see NH in NH's POV, but from her own perspective.

Meanwhile, viewers can see both situations from NH's and SYM's perspective. Poor girl. People love to understand NH's situation, but ignore hers. 😆

People say it's hard for new dramas to get 40 episodes. That's why I think it will be great to divide it in 2 seasons. One to lead them to the capital, and the second focus in the palace. 20-24 episodes in each season will be wonderful. But it's just my opinion.

They don't need to stretch it. Giving the viewers a room for breathing or processing things is enough. For example, they don't give us any story about why Sun Hao Yue locked Bai Fei Jue (Sun's brother-in-law) or his fate after the case solved.
