Nan Heng was treated so awful by his family, friends, and people since childhood. He was exiled and guarded the border with his army, the soldiers he trained from a scratch. He lived away from his family and people. When he returned, everyone blamed him for every incident. He was accused of and severely punished for many things he didn't even dare to think of. Yet, he loved and protect his family and people with his life till the end. 😭 It's so unreal.

Meanwhile, Cu Gui Hong lost his aunt and father, but everyone loved, cared, and sacrificed everything for him. Everyone. Even the emperor and crown prince grant his every wish to show how much they care. No matter what crime he did, everyone would take his side and let him free. Surprise, surprise. He pay them back by killing the emperor, slandering the crown prince, and even hurting many people just to sit on the throne. 😱

It's a 40 episode drama. You need Nan Heng's patience to finish it. But trust me. It's so satisfying and worth your time.

It was a wise decision. I watched the rest (mainly because I'm free today and need something to do) and OMG, poor Liu Xue Yi, it was disastrous. 😅
