Despite the disappointment with the ending, this drama has a well-written script. The writers are smart for taking the risk to create this wonderful story. Hong Ye and Xiao Yao's characters are the best in my opinion. They are selfless.
Though I hate Xiao Yao has to return to 10.000 years ago, this journey holds the answer for ending the huge problem in their world: endless fighting and killing between human and demon for Yu Li Spring.
The surprise that hard to swallow is Hong Ye starts all of that tragedies. Now I can cry-like-a-baby with him in that spring scene. He realizes a huge mistake he makes. If he didn't steal those dragon essence pearls and manipulate the great demons, Yu Li Spring would never exist.
