Hopefully, before episode 36, Yan Jiang found a solution for his no sense of direction. π It's interesting because there are clinical cases for this inability.
He was calm (after days of reflecting), trying to listen to her, but Ye Li made an unforgivable mistake in her…
That's what disappointed me the most! Why oh why she had to exclude him from her plans?? They had the same goals and enemies, my goodness.
You took the words out of my mouth. It was reasonable for him to think she doesn't love or trust him, but just repaying a debt. Yep, Ye Li need a wake up call. She's like her mother, I guess, playing a hero. π§π€ And I understand it's her coping mechanism because she realizes her mother's mistake is unforgivable.
people are cursing mxy mainly bcos he burned the paper in front of her which was symbolic of burning the love…
He took that paper as a symbol of Ye Li paying her mother's debt, not because she cared about him. Why should he keep it any longer?
He promised to never leave her because he didn't know the truth. What normal response in that kind of situation? Well, separation, of course. It happened to every couple when they have a huge argument.
Because she has no time for romance. She said it many times that she wanted to be an official and served the people.
Hahaha ... Thank you! π₯
Men are hunters. When they set on winning a woman's heart, they'll do anything to get her. So, yes is yes. No means a challenge to turn it into yes. π
I don't understand how come you cursing Mo Xiu Yao and hope for him to have everlasting misery after the talk…
He was calm (after days of reflecting), trying to listen to her, but Ye Li made an unforgivable mistake in her confession. She knew her mother's playing to be a hero's consequences not only causing Mo Xiu Yao's family's downfall, but also the death of 30.000 soldiers (and probably more if their families followed the soldiers into afterlife). That's why she could not tell Mo Xiu Yao about the edict and waited for him to ask first.
Ye Li shouldn't have said she healed Mo Xiu Yao's legs and cleared all the victims's name to repay her mother's debt and compensate Mo Xiu Yao, because nothing, again, nothing could repay and compensate those ten of thousands lives. It was a huge number of casualties.
Ye Li didn't kill those soldiers, yes, but her arrogance in her confession showing she downplayed her mother's grave mistake. It hurt Mo Xiu Yao.
I'm not taking side but trying to understand both struggles that cause the argument.
I don't understand how come you cursing Mo Xiu Yao and hope for him to have everlasting misery after the talk in episode 30. Are we watching the same drama?
Because she has no time for romance. She said it many times that she wanted to be an official and served the people.
It happened in real life, too. Believe it or not, I had some male friends, who couldn't understand no means no. I couldn't avoid them because we were in the same organization. Many men thought "no" means "maybe" that can be change to "yes". Years gone by, they're married now, and I'm free. π
Looking at comments down below I have a feeling "people don't know how to enjoy light silly comedy " π …
What I don't understand is the obsession over smart FL. π My goodness. It's a comedy drama. π§ Can't a smart person act, think, or talk silly or even dumb?
Top 1 stupidity: thank you for saying this. π€πΌ
I know, right? I've watched many crime or investigation dramas. There's no way they release someone from the crime scene, even if she swear she's innocent.
Su Zui Die should be in prison after they got the whole story from all the witnesses. However, they released her even before Ye Li woke up. How could they know she was not Ye Li's minion, for example. She stayed in Prince Ding Mansion for days. They could be planning the murder together. π
How did the edict appeared as I knew YeLi hidden it when she was taken to the prison. Thanks.
It's okay. We're here to help each other understand the story. And you don't miss some scenes. Let's say, it's a plot hole, if they won't give any explanation about how Ye Li get the edict back.

I remember the scene when Ye Li presented the edict in the court raised many questions in this page, but we didn't really have the answer. It was impossible no one saw it under the cushion because the cushion would be moved and revealed the edict or fell to the floor when they carried her body from the crime scene to prison or anywhere.
Since that room was a crime scene the officers should have searched the whole place. Someone should have found it there. π§ So far, no explanation how Ye Li got it back, and how the edict survived the search.

I hope the writers won't make a clichΓ©, where Mo Xiu Yao regrets his words because people around her and him blame him and glorifies Ye Li's misery in their reconciliation.

She told them they're just friends. If they refused to accept her words and stubbornly persuaded her to be with them, it wasn't her fault.
