If I may add one more interesting character: Xie Huai Gui. He's successful in being a great father, who sincerely cares for her daughter, acting weak and humble toward his wife, while on the other side, he's hiding his true intention. I'm so dumbfounded by his character's dynamics, especially when he killed Chang Er. 😭🤧

Well, some people need to be fair about romance genre. Romance is not equal porn. I guess that's why they keep saying the FL cast by a minor. What I like about C-drama is the government is strictly involved in reviewing its whole content.

It's an original script, not a book adaptation. So, we all are blind about the what would happen in the future episodes.

Xie Jia Yu is a noble spoiled daughter, but her attitudes don't annoy me. She's funny. I watch many dramas where the female leads are spoiled daughters and I struggle watching their arrogant acts. I wish the screenwriters create more of this kind of female lead.

I guess the problem here is the romance meaning in your opinion. In Asia, romance doesn't always include passionate kisses where the leads eat each other mouth and share saliva, or naked in bed, couch, or floor the way western dramas do.

I suggest you to clean your mind because romance rating in this drama is PG, not NC-17 like ones in Game of Thrones.
