I agree. Ye Li knows Su Zui Die has a motive. And yes, the only thing that save her for being stupid in that room is she knows about the trap, and may be, play along to stop that woman's scheme (I guess?).

I'm not studying or mastering psychology, so I don't know what her mental state. But, that scene is ... that's it? She easily open up to her target, without suspect anything? 🤔

The only reason for her downfall in that scene is the plot armor for female lead. There's no way Su Zui Die lets Ye Li interrogates her openly there, without suspecting, at least, someone listens to their conversation. 😄

Oh, about that, if the family knows she killed that drunk man, they may thank her for solving their major problem. Who knows?

That drunk man is nobody, but Ye Li is a princess consort. She can't be impulsive.

Honestly, I would have never ready for a deadly serious scene in a romance comedy. However, it's a C-drama, after all, and they have patterns. Well, let's enjoy it. 😁😆

Cautious people like Su Zui Die suspect everything, especially when they're in a mission. She's almost there. Three days, and Ye Li will be dead if they haven't found the other perpetrator. Su Zui Die's reaction in that scene is suspension of disbelief.

That's it? Su Zui Die carefully planned to break the war between two realm, executed everything perfectly, and tried her best to fix the mistake regarding Han Ming Xi's imprisonment. However, she didn't suspect the reason Ye Li was alone in that spot—in the middle of the night, when she was supposed to be in jail—and answered her questions truthfully. Seriously??

Someone can't turn clever or stupid in one night. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Reading your last sentence, where her dad serve that "tea," I have to laugh heartily recalling the scene. It's hilarious indeed. The comedy in this drama is my cup of tea, too. I giggle, chuckle, and even have to pause the drama for LOL , causing my mom scold me. 🤣🤣🤣

I love Fan Yun. Her money-oriented attitude is so real for a person tired dealing with poverty. 😁😅 Qi Zheng acts foolish is perfect to trick those three elders, so that they don't know his hidden agenda. Lou Qi Yan and his fake beard? It makes me giggle. 😁
