Oh trust me I don't mind if someone doesn't like a drama that I like. Everyone has different tastes after all. I just find the dramatics so funny 😂 If you watched and didn't like it at some point, you should probably just drop it. But what is up with the theatrics acting like it's a life or death situation? 😂

I usually never comment things like this. But I don't understand why people are acting like someone put a gun to their head to watch this drama. If it's not good to you, don't waste your time watching it? Like it's that simple? It's not obligatory to watch this drama 😂

I might be proven completely wrong but I think the pm is behind her car being tampered. Obviously it's easier to blame Yirang's dad Jinmu but the pm is so sus to me. My theory is he wanted to scare Huiju off marrying Ahn by pulling this stunt and then come save the day. His little snide remarks during the restaurant outing and chess game didn't go unnoticed by me. Prime Minister Min is a trojan horse of the series.

They both have different stylists. Byeon Wooseok and his stylist came up with the hanbok top styling together. As for her, all her outfits are designer but they lean more old money unlike Manwol which is more flashy.

She's doing an amazing job as a villain. I think she's impressed me the most among the cast.

I find this logic to be absurd. You can't watch a fictional drama because of the economic status of the characters? If I look at the most succesful dramas like cloy,qot, all of these have wealthy characters but this has never been wielded against these dramas. I just feel like you guys are grasping at straws to hate on this drama.

I think she feels the sense of unfairness because of her station but yeah definitely not the most moral character. In the first episode she tells them to make a scandal out of the ba of the rival brand and other dirty tricks.

But don't you think that would make him a villain? He's the regent of an 8 year old kid. Gaining power and leveraging it for the crown isn't his aim. I actually think he wants to stabilize the situation for his kid nephew and leave the palace all together. But let's see what happens.

Yeah I don't trust her dad even her husband's death being because of her provocation seems like a red herring to me. She's a villain but someone who I have empathy for. Her whole life she was probably raised with the pressure of being a queen. She has no identity outside of that so she has to protect her achievement. Because if not what did she suffer so much for?

At first, I thought Yirang is so anxious arround Lee Ahn for no reason. This isn't the Joseon times. They're in a constitutional monarchy and Lee Ahn can't snatch the throne anyways. If he did, it'll probably be treason since there are other checks and balances in the modern times. But I think Ahn himself by existing triggers her so she ends up lashing out at him uncharacteristically. Yirang her whole life has been groomed to be the next queen but feels this attraction towards Ahn and that guilt manifests as resentment and anger. Gong Seungyeon and Byeon Wooseok are serving so hard in this pairing.

I don't think she has good morals though? She said it herself she'll win playing dirty rather than lose cleanly. Her character wants the approval of her dad so she's doing all of this thinking it'll heal/fix her when in fact it's never been her fault in the first place.

He went to the engagement with the nephew king and then another scandal happened with Huiju

I think people want to associate with him because he is loved by the public. His father and brother died in succession and he rose up as the regent doing duties for his young nephew. So, the public can't help loving him but he still has to answer to the queen who is the senior most member of the royal family. His currency is him being popular. Queen mother feels affected by his popularity because she's expecting the baby king to compete with a full grown adult. Even BWS character himself says the royal family can't do anything but keep still. It kind of reminds of what the Queen Elizabeth's policy was never explain, never complain.

I think it's mostly teasing and maybe just maybe he thinks they have a personal connection as senior and junior so he wanted her lead with that? Oh and also seems like he's wary of associating with businessmen and politicians alike as he told queen mother so her applying as a junior saves him that headache too.

Unfortunately Wooseok has become a bit of a tall poppy in the kdrama sphere. I saw literal verified accs on twitter made specifically just to hate on him. He's such a nice person and a good actor. It's unfortunate.

No problem! I'm also confused why they didn't explain certain things since some of the nonkorean audience like us aren't privy to this.

Lee Young means bright. Lee Shin means protector/guardian so he's father is saying to be loyal to the crown and Lee Ahn lastly means to stay still/humble. So, everytime his title is changed it's meant to be more demeaning than the previous title.
