A Satisfying Journey
I really enjoyed this drama! I watched it straight through without skipping any scenes because I was so eager to follow the story. Although the ending feels somewhat open, I’m very satisfied with how the story unfolded.This review is purely from a viewer’s perspective since I haven’t read the original novel. Of course, no drama is perfect — it may have a few minor flaws, but they’re totally bearable. What truly stood out to me was the outstanding acting. Cheng Yi’s portrayal was so convincing that I almost forgot Li Chenzhou and Qiushui were played by the same actor! Every cast member delivered such strong performances that I found myself completely carried away by the emotions and the story.
Overall, it’s a captivating and well-acted drama that’s definitely worth watching! 🌟

I genuinely loved this drama from start to finish. The plot is captivating, especially for someone like me who isn’t into romance—I was fully invested in how the story unfolded. The cast did an amazing job: the protagonists are easy to love, while the villains are perfectly hateable, which just proves how well they delivered their roles.The visuals are beautiful, and the OST is incredibly catchy—I found myself humming it without even realizing. The storyline is solid and meaningful without needing to rely on romance, and the ending left me satisfied, especially with the Black Fox finally gone.
What really sets this drama apart is its message about love and sacrifice. A happy ending doesn’t always mean the leads end up together. True love can be selfless, and Fugui showed that through his devotion to protecting all living beings. I’ll always choose a story with depth and purpose over one packed with romantic clichés.
Overall, this drama delivered everything I want and more—a well-deserved 10/10!

Satisfying drama
Such a wonderful story! I truly love how the leads stand by each other through every trial, showing deep trust and understanding. Their bond grows beautifully, and the ending feels happy, complete, and so satisfying. It’s a perfect reward after all the pain. This is really good drama.
This drama is so good! The suspense is nonstop, and there’s a body count in almost every episode, lol. I keep changing my mind about who Kunwu really is, it’s such a ride. I got completely carried away watching it.The cast is amazing too, especially Cheng Yi and the actors who play Ling Han and Ke Jing Ping. They all did such a great job. Honestly, this is a really good drama!
