I get the feeling that she wasn’t allowed many choices. So her father basically arrange the marriage with JiHyeok.

I think SeonU and HaYeong make a great couple. I hope the writers don’t make SeonU pine over DaRim and treat HaYeong like a consolation prize. She doesn’t deserve that. And I agree about SeonU and DaRim. They give off a brother/sister vibe so it doesn’t work as an option in my mind.

I missed that. So I guessed right? Lol. I guess the appeal of many Kdramas is that they follow a predictable pattern.

I get the feeling that SeonU and HaYeong will start liking and seeing each other. JiHyeok will think SeonU is cheating on DaRim. Cause of conflict with SeonU. Is that where we’re headed?

You can’t say that 4 episodes in. You don’t know how the plot will unfold. When we get to the end and the story has run out of steam, then you can say that.

Word of mouth should cause numbers to explode. So far after three episodes, it’s definitely in my top 3 Kdramas of the year. Crossing my fingers that the top quality holds throughout.

I was really surprised that they were about to jump into bed and have sex after knowing each other for a day.

Well it is a Kdrama. Don’t fret. Her lie will come crashing down on her at the worst possible moment. And he will show his love and come to protect her.

Exactly. She doesn’t know him or know that he loves her. She doesn’t know that she can trust him about the job matter. If she tells him, he would really have a legitimate reason to fire her. While the other thing is just a person matter between the two.

That’s not why he doesn’t want her on his team. He doesn’t want her on his team because his feelings are hurt. He could care less about that team. The ML has a right to be upset and angry over what seems like a betrayal. I’m fine with that. The pool incident was petty and over the top especially when he knows she can’t swim. I’m ok with the way the ML is acting now because I know he’s going to turn it around in later episodes but it’s also ok to call him out when he’s behaving badly. No reason to be a total fan girl.

Did you pay attention? The friend told her he was at the pool when she asked where to find him. And don’t tell people not to watch because they process the drama differently than you.

There is a thin line between being angry and childish. If the anger goes too far it’s childish. Let’s say she was really married. You got to move on. It’s not like he was dating her for months and found out. At some point you take the high road and move on.

I know she’s lying but he’s acting like a big baby and being a total a$$ to her. I don’t like that. At least the previews show that things will turn around and he’s going to start sticking up for her and the team. But he was very immature in ep 3.

Lol. The good ole amnesia trope. I have seen it in enough K and C dramas to last a life time.

She was literally a Kpop idol. Actors act. There were moments that called for serious emotion and she didn’t deliver on those either.

I unfortunately have to agree. Ding did a great job in this role. VS struggled with delivering the right emotion in almost every scene. She has basically the same look no matter if she’s happy or sad. Great example is when the high princess throws herself off the cliff. Ding does a better job showing emotion for her than she does showing for the princess. You can tell she was struggling to create a sad face. They did her no favors having her follow behind that amazing performance of Joe Chen. I want to see VS in something else before I judge her talent. This role just wasn’t a good fit for her.

I hate when that happens. The first two episodes did a great job setting up the plot. Great premise and the leads delivered on chemistry. Hope it delivers. Could be one of my favorites if they play this right.

Agreed. I think they missed opportunity to bring everyone back together in one scene. My head cannon is that those couples were married. They also alluded to Chun and Song Shilan getting together at some point. So I guess everyone is doing well.
