Spoilers please.1. What episode do they get together?2. Any breakups. How much episode?3 Any love triangle?4.…
1. You will get attraction and flirting early. There is no official announcement but technically their first kiss is ep. 17 and they are holding hands, so let’s say there. 2. No breakups. Once they are together, they stay together. Forever. 3. Not really. There is a 2ML who is interested in FL but he doesn’t interfere and bows out gracefully. 4. Very much so. Kinda unbelievable happ ending with sister. But you get the ending you would want for a romance. 5. No it’s not. This is a detective story. There are romantic elements in it. But you don’t get a real kiss until ep 21. It is clear early on that they love each other though. 6. The kisses you get are good. I’d say it’s G rated when it comes to touching. Like I said, it’s not really a romance but I do like the way they trauma bond. And their fight scene in the ring was unexpected but good.
Finally finished. I did enjoy the cast. The cases did get repetitive. They really could have gone with 18 episodes and tightened the script. Nice to see a before The Double WangXingue. It’s weird that it took this long for this series to be released. For those for a romance you will be disappointed. There is love and the kisses will come and the ending is very happy. But you are really going to wait for it.
I can tell that people who want a romance will not be happy with this one. Kinda giving off The Wanted Detective in that aspect. Definitely watching this only for Wang Xingyue but it’s nice to get a switch up from the usual costume dramas.
Having an amnesia story at the very end is definitely a choice. They ticked off every trope in the book. About the very ending. They said it was a few years later but their kids are at least 8 and 6. That was so cute. But I mention it because of Hayeong’s ending. Are we to believe she still hasn’t moved on after all that time? Her story is so frustrating.
Not sure how realistic the resolution to this case was (probably not very), but I prefer this over what happened…
The cases they are taking are based on truth but the resolutions are unrealistic. Most of these cases would have taken at least a year to resolve. Probably longer. Obviously they are taking creative license. The show still needs to be entertaining.
I knew this episode was too good to be true. We got actual self reflection and remorse from the FL for half an…
I hate to see DaRim quit like that. But it’s clear she has low self esteem. Look how her mom talked about her. She doesn’t even think she’s worthy to be with ML. DaRim doesn’t want to be the one to bring JiHyeok down. So her go to in life is to quit and run away. Unfortunately, that’s probably why she’s where she’s at in life. She needs to stand and fight and not let them railroad her out the company and out of a relationship. I think JiHyeok will help her find the back bone to fight back.
I’m happy that SeonU was straight with HaYeong. Now HaYeong needs to go find a man who will love and chase her. And SeonU can waste his life sulking after DaRim while she’s loved another man.
Best place for dates in Seoul is Egg Drop as evidenced by this drama, My Dearest Nemesis, etc. 🤣
Yeah, they were used in Our Unwritten Seoul as well. They must pay well to advertise in these dramas. I wonder if they have seen an increase in foreign visitors because of all the advertising.
Seonu just stop showing up on the screen. No hate to actor. But character written poorly suddenly its all a joke?…
Yeah, the previews kinda pissed me off. I hope it’s misdirection because HaYeong deserves much better than that. He meets a beautiful, smart, caring woman who adores his child but he treats her like crap. Run girl.
Does woke mean acknowledging the real world? I’m sure you can find a show that will show you fantasy Asians,…
Gay people exist. Disabled people exist. What is “woke” about telling a story that features gay or disabled people? Within the story, the FL mentioned the types of cases they take usually have these types of individuals, so it was story related. It’s not like they forced these subjects into the story in an inorganic way.
I totally agree. I came here to write that. What happened to other the other women this may have happened to and…
You raise a good point but this case was just for their client. Realistically you still have a hospital not providing full service due to the influence of a chaebul. But realistically you would need a whole season to resolve that issue. They are touching on a lot of complex issues that will not be resolved in an hour on a limited series that’s billed as a dramedy.
You do realize that Korea deals with many of the same social issues that go on here in the US right? Many of you just want to see dancing and singing Asians for your entertainment. The Hallyu wave have conditioned you to the shiny, happy Korean but I’m glad a show is mixing it up a bit.
I didn’t remember the date sadly but wondered if that was the cause but they said street market so I wondered…
The date of her death is the exact day of the tragedy. When I saw the month and year it clicked in my mind. I checked to verify and it was that incident. It was even more sad because so many young people, like the granddaughter, perished that night.
from the very beginning the initial investigation was biased and arguably unprofessional. lol they didn't even…
Unfortunately that type of bias does exist. The spouse is usually the first suspect when a husband or wife is murdered. And even that does turn out to be factual in many cases, it does create bias. They should have at least looked at other options. The real murderer called out the prosecutor on it at the end.
