Their mission is not telling the truth but avenging Haiya's massacre, I guess. That's why all Yesha's minions…
I’ll use another. It’s time to put this in a landing pattern. If they are going to stick the landing I don’t want to see them try to explain everything in the last two episodes.
I so agree. I think the 'lack' of romance is a factor, as is timing, especially as it's streaming after the Coroner's…
LotFG is great. The two leads have great chemistry and it has the romance people like. The editing is awful though.
Coroner’s Diary starts great buts gets boring fast because of the two Mary Sue lead characters.
TWD is good but let’s not act like it’s the best thing going. The poison plot is just a tired and worn out plot device. Cdramas usually need a romance to pull in a certain demographic and it lacks that. Also a bit too much rehash with each villain basically killing the themselves or being offed by Yesha. That said, I would rate it higher than Coroner’s Diary and below Legend of the Female General.
Sometimes I'm surprised that series like this, are not really liked by mdl members, they like to give small scores,…
I think most people who watch Cdramas are into romance first and foremost. If shows don’t lean into romance then people are less interested in the show.
Honestly, the plot is gripping. 2 episodes a day is not enough. Don’t expect too much romance here but strong…
Agreed. Once this series ends I will binge watch. I actually think this series will be even better watched in large chunks because how the story arc plays out.
Enjoyed getting the sweet moments between Beiming and Xueman. I hope we wrap up the poison storyline soon so we get more time with male lead being active. The show elevates every time he’s on screen. And bring more of ZKY as well. I’m starting to think Yesha isn’t one person but a cult religion. From the previews my guess is that Beiming will save Xueman by turning himself in.
I like how the guy, whom I’m assuming is the 2ML, was able to put together that He Yan was a girl rather easily. And the 2FL, I assume, was able to sus that she was disguised as Cheng. Glad they aren’t bringing in dumb secondaries just to prop up leads.
Love the group dynamics. Beiming treats Feng and Shuang like little brothers. Really enjoy his talks with the boys. Also loved the talk between Xueman and Dairong in bed. It was a real sister moment for those two. Beiming’s instincts for bringing Dairong along was correct. Xueman did need to have her around. I’m to the point now, that I will be mad if the kill off anyone on our team. I want to see everyone solve this mystery and make it home.
Just finished episodes 5 and 6 and I’m pleased at how the show is going so far. Love the chemistry between the leads. My only complaint would be the editing. It’s clear there are some severe cuts that have occurred. You can tell that there are scenes missing that would connect an earlier and later scene. That does contribute to the fast pace, which I don’t mind, but that does lead to some choppiness. So far the story and acting is good enough that it’s holding together. But I really wish we got more than 35 minutes.
This is not a FL led story. It is about a crime solving team led by the ML - it is more like Strange Tales of…
It’s not a FL story but Xueman is our doorway to a lot of these cases. Due the fact that Beiming is a fugitive, Xueman is the connective piece to all the characters and the face of the group.
Aren't the episodes meant to be 45 minutes not 35?
I hear that one of the male leads had scenes replaced or edited completely out so that effected the time. Idk. I would normally expect at least 45 minutes per episode.
7.8?!?!? HATERS ARE WINNING So you’re telling me this drama with:• an original and tight script (no famous…
A lot of it has a from antis who are afraid of actors becoming popular and outshining their favorite actors. Pretty sad. And it will also be from those who expected or wanted as romance.
