Well, you are picking your C-dramas well - Who rules the world was another solid drama with above-average Power Couple (ML was stronger, but not to the point of making the FL look silly).
Among the ones I watched, I would probably recommend "Sword Snow Stride", unless you want to go into a more challenging territory of "Nirvana in Fire" and other top-notch stuff.

Yeah, I was trying to watch it a few times, and every time it got me too. But that's how the supposedly Power Couples are typically portrayed - the FL is closer to "Damsel in Distress" in reality, so the writers/director can use the most generic way of pushing the Romance forward by making the ML save the FL (or outplaying her when they fight).
I really like this one - Man Ning Xi is playing a 2FL role there, but it's all about Yuan Qi Ying (why doesn't she have an MDL profile?) as the scheming and ruthless FL.

It's clear I didn't express myself clearly enough, even if I used "in her respective field", meaning decision making/scheming/counter scheming - I don't compare both FL's in physical strength, I compare their development (or regression in PoB's FL case) regarding their strongest points.
On ep 8 and I'm finding it hard to like Yun Xiang. Does anyone else feel the same? Idk he just isn't that likeable…

I really wanted to like this drama, and from what I remember, I even completed it, but the unlikability of Yun Xiang, and the writers killing the FL's character as a top martial artist in the fight against the gang leader played by Wang Jing Song made me pretty neutral about it. Pity, after such a strong start. The plotholes and the storyline turn didn't help either.
Overall, it was side characters who made it watchable for me, which is very rare for me, as typically I don't care about them.
Super disappointing.
