There are a lot of nicely filmed fights in this one, but after a second/third melee, it got boring fast, especially when running the same tropes that I am personally sick of.
Aaaaah, if you don't like politics, then Are You The One is indeed a better choice, although it will creep in there too in the final episodes. And since I'm a guy, Wang Chu Ran is obviously a must-watch, lol :).
However, the politics in "Blossom" is rather nicely done, especially the final rebellion, which is possibly my favourite one among the ones I watched (and pretty much all the dramas have one).
Btw, if you don't mind slow burn, then "Story of Ming Lan" is something you definitely should try down the road.
I am being drawn to this drama for a while now and finally can’t resist it anymore. But just for heads up wanna…
Well, a woman who clearly recognises that her partner/lover keeps manipulating her (and everyone around him) and putting her in danger, yet still ends up with him - it's maybe somehow realistic (but would be more so if the woman weren't able to realise it), but definitely not logical :).

YouTube doesn't have any working uploads, but you can find many available links on Dailymotion under two different titles: - "The Heiress’s Lethal Return" - "The heiress who broke them all"

Native Title: 大小姐归来飒翻全场 ML: Zhang Yun Tao 张韫韬 FL: Liu Lan Ge 刘蓝鸽
Above-average among dozens of versions of this storyline, the romance has rare funny moments, and I didn't want to kill ML every 30 seconds like it typically happens. Even though he was typically overbearing.
Among the more recent ones, I think there is a chance you would enjoy "Flourished Peony"; I know I did,…
Well, the Emperor in the "Empresses in the Palace" was absolutely amazing acting-wise, However, trying not to be hypocritical, I can understand your point, as there are types of women I wouldn't want to watch in leading roles either :) But I respect the drama even more with him playing the Emperor, just making female viewers curse the casting choice. Also, he would be relegated to play a eunuch in 2026 :).
And your experience with Lu Songli sounds so familiar :). Just a bit disappointed that in the end the writer was more tired than she was of conquering the land, and his writing was no longer meticulous (I missed reading Lu Songli's thoughts and breaking things down).
Many dramas later, I'm starting to appreciate more and more how balanced and equal the ML and FL were here, comparing their strengths and abilities. Typically in so-called "power couples", the ML saves the FL way too many times to seriously consider them as the one, but here, the FL clearly doesn't feel like someone who would struggle without the ML around, nor is she dumbed down, like the majority of FLs are.
Does it have a happy ending ? I am here after PUJ whould i enjoy it ?
Yes, it has and the final episodes are much better compared to the Pursuit of Jade (I assumed, you put it wrongly a PUJ) I think you would enjoy it, but it's slower paced than POJ.
I pushed this one off for some time because of people saying that there was no chemistry and how the fl didn't…
This sounds like a very strong recommendation for me.
Maybe it will prove to be better than "Generation to Generation", at least the ML here doesn't seem to be red flag and the FL isn't smart and dumb at the same time. I hope so :)..
Title: Phoenix Return/鳳昔歸
FL:Qin Tianai/秦天愛
ML:Cai Xinyang/蔡欣洋
Any chance for a new links?

Maybe "Are you the One", but this one is really slow, although not without charm,
Yet, I'm looking there right now and see nothing - https://movie.douban.com/subject/37234503/
Not surprising that her fight scenes in the new "Mulan" adaptation looked good.
Btw, when playing a badass character, in some camera shots, she reminds me of Liu Shi Shi from "Journey to Love"
Well, watching Chu Ai Xu beating bad guys can be done without it, though ;)
