I'm still on the fence about it - I watched Episode 1 and I think I like the actress playing the FL, plus I read she talks shit against the Emperor making the drama unrealistic.
We'll see if I proceed further.

Blossom is IMO clearly better.

Among the ones I watched, "Sword Snow Stride" is mostly about the ML's journey. No rebirth, though.
Possibly "Joy of Life" as well with the same actor, but I didn't watch that one to confirm.

If he was, why didn't he recognise the fl during their first confrontation in a new timeline (Episode 5)? And barely knew anything about her?

Also, Episode 5 is truly amazing, one of my favourites to re-watch, Blossom or not.

Based on the trailers, it looks more intriguing than "Blossoms in Power", I also consider Bai Lu a better actress than Meng Zi Yi. Although I often like a lot the characters the latter is playing.

You mentioned that you are already on Episode 14 - don't you see a difference already? After ML's brother/cousin arrived?
He sows discord to the FL's face, trying to make them split, hides the jewellery... and she is suddenly blind and dumb about it.

The FL's cleverness, usefulness to the ML, ability to scheme, counter-scheme go really down, except for 1-2 exceptions,

There will be so many moments when, after establishing her in such a powerful way in the opening 10 episodes, she could do more... and she did nothing.

For example, every moment when people will sow discord to her face and she realises/does nothing, was just a cringe for me.

I know that villains are supposed to have their 5 minutes too, but then the writers shouldn't establish the FL the way they did at the beginning.

But, it's my personal perspective and priorities - I don't care much for romance, and I didn't like such a strong comedic vibe here, too,

Well, the most complex character can mean everything.
Typically, it means 3/4 of drama will be used to build her up (so-called "character development"), so the ML will have a chance to help/save her over and over again to move their romance forward...

How is the FL in it? Scheming successfully? Helps the ML? Or does the ML rescue her more?
