there is a point when frenzy becomes mush, and i think that just comes down to the viewer. cuz to me it was frenzied but i was able to still tell what was happening. wasn't really mush to me at all. but to others it very well could be.

they're not portraying it as something good you know. phatsa spent the whole time being like "I don't want this!" And the mating scene wasn't portrayed as something pleasurable. It's not condoning anything.

i think we just have different ideas of what a "good" rut/heat scene should look like. in this case, with the way heat was portrayed earlier in the episode, I thought this portrayal of alpha/omega mating was in line with that.

it was a sex scene, it it wasn't meant to be sexy. if you look at the music, the framing, everything, its clearly meant to be stressful for the both of them.

i think it might not be for you. i've read omegaverse for years, and in terms of portraying alphas and omegas, its low budget, but its fine. now introducing omegaverse as a world, its lacking. so def not for people who don't know what it is. im able to understand bc i know the basics of ABO. but others here are clearly confused.

tbh i think the show is for people that just wanna shut their brains off and see BoatOat and their NCs. anything more than that and it doesn't hit as hard.

i've rewatched an honestly i like BoatOat's performance even more now. idk, after you put into consideration that omegaverse is something that is supposed to portray sex and something primal, it's easier to appreciate their performances. i know ppl are only watching this for the NC's, but if you are thinking of dropping cuz the NC's are "disappointing" then i fear this show is not for you lol.

also, i firmly believe they did not show any type of penetration because clearly both phatsa and nakhun are out of their minds. to have their first time be portrayed to the audience as something so dubious, miserable and stressful is something that im glad they avoided. or else i think it would have left a sour taste in everyone's mouth.
