okay, we have to be honest. omegaverse is pretty cringe. so basically no NC would have been sufficient bc this is an omegaverse story. mind you im talking about the NCs here. the rest of the show is something else lol.
idk i liked the episode...was better than episode 1 at least haha.
i liked the depiction of heat and alpha/omega mating. it was clear it wasn't supposed to be sexy, it was supposed to be desperate and wild. cuz that's what rut and heat is all about. it goes to biological instincts that are hard to control. its unpleasant, as we see in the NC scenes. their fast movement pace was a tad much, and i admit that it looked a bit silly, but i do know what they were going for. and tbh it wasn't that bad. i think it depicted heat and mating pretty well.
everything else was quite expected. humor in weird places, those ugly shorts, odd editing etc.
the only time the visuals were good & editing was even remotely okay was during the NC's. which is on par for mflow (i thought the NCs in my stubborn were well filmed and put together). so this is no surprise.
Is it good, not really. The subtitles are not great. Music is trash, acting is meh. I HATE the shorts that Oat…
yep. its pretty bad. but their chemistry is what i'm here for. tbh as long as their NCs are good, and their romance is nice, it'll make the show worth it.
It's a trashy low budget series. But there is an audience for it. Enjoy it for what it is - or don't. Nobody in…
i agree with you. but im 100% the audience for this so you bet imma be watching every week alongside don't be too emotional (a show that looks actually promising) LOL
subjective review: I LOVED IT, I WANT MORE RIGHT NOW!! emotionally this was a 10/10
objective review: the subtitles were really bad, and the editing/pacing was off so it felt clunky to watch. the explanation of omegaverse was extremely lackluster, could have been better. the character intros were fine i guess. the acting as a whole is not great, but i know i shouldn't expect oscar worthy performances. the slight comedic tone was expected. the action scenes were goofy. with how many characters there are, im wary as to how they'll fit everyone into the story. and the plot was a bit laggy at some parts, but the episode moved fairly quickly. all in all, i'd objectively give the first episode a 5/10.
hmm. based on the novelization released by the director, do you think we will have a love triangle? it seems like sangnuea (the character phatsa met) might be an important part of the story...maybe my mind is really going places but it could be omega x omega haha.
NOTE: this is just insane speculation that i have no real basis for, except for the first novel chapter & the pilot. with the trailer, i could easily see how the bond with nakhun can be suffocating. maybe this sanguea could be a refuge to phatsa and he has to decide between two lives (omega x alpha and omega x omega).
as a writer that's what i would do at least lol. im just spitting random shit at this point don't take it seriously
