Yes I actually find her more annoying in the drama than in the novel. They made her more childish here Idk why. She mostly bullies Chang Ming because of the Snow Lotus Pill. It’s a rare pill that can speed up cultivation and heal injuries. Lingbo isn’t very good at martial arts, so she wanted to use it to get ahead of everyone else. But Master Qi gave it to Chang Ming to heal him from poison which made her resentful (that's why she says that she wants his heart). She’s also very condescending and that clashes a lot with Chang Ming’s boldness.

Yes for now I'm quite disappointed cause I feel like the story goes too fast I don't even have time to really get to know the characters. Sometimes I feel like if I didn't read the novel I wouldn't be able to follow everything clearly. One minute the ML gets hurt and the other he's already healed talking about other things

They were supposed to meet when Qi Lingbo bullied Chang Ning. I explained it more in detail above 🫶 I just loved the beginning so much since we can see how witty and funny Zhao is. Their relationship seem too fast in the first episode as they mixed and fas forwarded a lot of moments and dialogues. But I get it they surely couldn't detail more the first timeline. If you're interested though I really recommend reading the novel once the drama ends cause their dynamic is completely different there they are so fun to read 😅

The Cai family isn't supposed to appear at the end of the whole battle in the beginning. They were supposed to meet when Qi Lingbo bullied Chang Ning. As he was taken in by Master Qi after his father's death, he took some pill to recover from the poison. But since this pill was supposed to go to Qi Lingbo she bullies him for it and try to get revenge. He actually isn't bothered by the bullying and even provoks a lot Lingbo. Zhao steps in when she first arrives but is kinda unwelcomed by Chang Ning who doesn't seek her protection. So that's why at first they are supposed to not like each other and to fight a lot which is really funny in the novel.

I didn't expect them to change the whole beginning with their first encounter. Kinda sad cause it changes the dynamic but the visuals are beautiful

That's so true! Since they announced the main lead I knew it would turn out into something great and the more we got content the more I couldn't wait. Now it kinda feels surreal to finally be able to see it. It has been a long time since I have been this eager to watch a cdrama.

Thanks for your explanation cause everyone recommended me this drama as a follow up story of Moving but the story and its setting is too different from Moving's universe that I nearly dropped it. It's sadly misleading to recommend this show while simply saying that it's the same universe and not delivering a deeper explanation like you did

Are you talking about the kdrama Our Universe ? Cause idk if it's ai but its intro definitely doesn't have the same charm as this cdrama. So I get what you mean! Adding illustrators in adds or series definitely brings a feeling of warmness and intimacy that you certainly can't get with ai or 3D

Yes she seems to be quite an opportunist. Just finished ep 3 and she's interested in a guy just for his background... I hope she won't try to get in between the main couple once Muyang gets his memory back or that he gets something interesting 😮‍💨 I hate when those opportunists try to meddle in every time

Tian Chen is so handsome as a doctor omg 🫠 I'm already in love with the second couple even though they just met! As an older sister I love when the independent older sister gets a handsome and responsible man aaaah

That's so true I wasn't aware of that univeristy system before watching this drama. I feel sad for her if she have to wait until 1977 to be able to enter university. That would mean she tried for 7 years that's so unfair.
Btw I didn't understand why she was never selected ? Was it because of corruption ? ( I didn't finish ep 2 idk if it will be better explain later )

Fr even the ending I loove seeing the character's drawing at the end it adds such a unique charm to it
