Great review! I was perplexed and wondering what did I just watch? Your review summed it up well. It was a chore…
Thank you!
Now that I think about it, I believe they were trying to add too much weight to the whole 1st love situation. Asian dramas (East Asian at least) do love a 1st love story. However, in this case it failed to move or convince us us coz as you said, they never dated, and that man was trash
Thank you 🙂. Also, being among the few who are unable to enjoy a well-loved show can make you feel like you're…
I actually don't mind a slow burn - they just need to give me a reason to root for it. And entertain me as I wait for them to get together. The reason for this slow burn was pure annoyance tbh. Every time I remember how long she styed in love with that 2nd ML I get annoyed all over again
Big same. I was so ready to be wrong but nope. He's still the hottest character to me based on aura though.
Haha, I respect it. But something about seeing Qian Qian crawling on the floor just.... I can't do it. The man is in my proverbial doghouse. Aura cannot save him
🤣🤣Now let them realize that he married into ✨her✨ family
Lol I can just picture the big bad feared men of the blood clad cavalry sitting around a fire shocked n gossiping about these unexpected and unbelievable developments. The barracks would be in chaos😂
The 1st time we met Qi Min, I said that he gave me the creeps. That something in my soul just didn't vibe with him. Some said that I was ovethinking. That they have history together so it's all good
I am so glad my spidey senses were right. They are going to need a forklift if they intend to try and improve my view of this man.
So far, I don't even want a redemption arc. Put him in a dark hole somewhere and let the world forget about him
As for his brother... Changyu should've slapped him around more
Uses of a husband as per episode 12...: Sales. You have two options with this
Option 1. If he's pretty and you have a business, make him the salesperson. Let him be the frontman. Then sit quietly and watch the money flood in. Fine print: Make sure he's Xie Zheng's level of faithful, or else
Option 2: If the family finances are low, or your bestie is in a pinch, sell him😭 Fine print: If you like him, please ensure that the sale is temporary, otherwise you'll only have yourself to blame. If you don't like him... Girl, I can't help you with that one👀
The expression on his face when he found out that she not only sold him but did it for 30 taels... I almost died🤣🤣
Okay, who is Mr white hair and why does he give me the creeps?? Something about how he looked at and touched Qian disgusted me to my very soul😒
Ps. Nobody reveal his identity to me please. I just want to express my current dislike for him publicly. I shall wait to see if my intuition about him is correct
My thoughts after episode 2 a. The TENSION!!! Oh sweet Jesus🙆🏾♀️. b. I saw Boston and collapsed. I knew he was coming, but I wasn't ready. Lord help them all, me included😭 c. If these characters don't burn a house down (or maybe a stage set) by the end of ep 12, I'm calling it a win PS. Someone needs to make an edit of all the side eyes thrown around in just these 2 episodes
lol I did not understand half the stuff they were talking about in regards to that. all I knew was that it had…
lol OMG yes!! They went so far as to diss Japan n another western country. Saying that their products were expensive when China's products were just as good if not better. I was like, y'all are being so obvious right now😂
and throughout the story, I felt they brainwashed me with photovoltaic technology. lolI love this story, but what…
lol I did not understand half the stuff they were talking about in regards to that. all I knew was that it had something to do with solar energy😅. also, thank you
I really like what you said about Koh - "He's unlikeable and I think that's the point. I don't quite think…
1. I wholly agree with you. Them not turning Koh into a bleeding heart philanthropist who suddenly hates capitalism and AI and thinks Jira is right about everything is the best things about this. He has his values, Jira has his. Koh is Jira's love and muse and Jira makes Koh (sorta) more human, and he fights his social anxiety to be with him. Despite their clear differences and flaws they still find a way to learn to stay together.
2. The statement 'the plantation of a flame lily' made me laugh, but he did indeed let it take over his rooftop. In the last episode, Koh says 'the world I built needs someone like you in it', so yeah, he just might not destroy Jira. We can only hope
3. I had no idea people felt underwhelmed or frustrated by the ending. I finished the show and checked out😅. Maybe I should take the time to check out more comments and reviews on the issue
agree with you on how the romance was: expected way more based on the trailer but then they broke up before they…
Yes. Sugiki chose to place Suzuki in the 'competition' pile and thus rejected him before they could ever become anything. That was unfortunate. I also wish they had given us the story from Sugiki's POV as well. It'd have been so good to see the struggle from his side
PS. Thank you for letting me know about the spelling mistake
Yoh... I'm not going to lie, man... This was hard. Episode 12 was hard. I've been vibing for the past few weeks coz watching FX's crazy ass was fun, and YSL still had some fighting spirit in him
But in Ep 12, that fighting spirit has been drained from him. That monologue he had at his mother's memorial center (I think that's what it's called), bruh... I can't even right now
I need a drink. But I don't drink, so I'll just go pace in the living room and gulp some water. Maybe watch some silly animation to keep me from thinking

Without revealing too much, her ending here is happy

FX, you bastard. I'll see you in Ep 13
