I got you! Okay so today was mainly focused on Mumu’s side of life. Here revisiting Thailand twice in six years and not seeing Zhao in both trips. Everyone was hiding his whereabouts from her except for Pan Kai who told her he visited once to repay the favour he owed him.
Mumu then decides to go back to China to work under the guidance of another Chinese guy she met in Canada. She told him she had a dream to open a café, Moon and fully described it. On a random day she was jogging then came across a dog which was affectionate towards her. The person walking the dog was a worker at a café. Mumu was a bit confused because the dog looked like Lightning but 6 years ago Sanlai told her that Lightning went missing.
During that time her Chinese colleague called her telling her that he came across a café which had the same description of her dreams. Mumu decided to visit it immediately, as she was getting lost that dog passes through her again. She connects the dots and assumes it’s Lightning, she called him and he ran to her then dragged her to the café.
Unfortunately the owner wasn’t around so Mumuhad to write her contact information in a journal like all the other ladies did who visited the café but she left her pen inside the journal. During that same time she was planning on buying their previous house but had heard that it had been recently bought by someone who wasn’t willing to resell it. When she went back home she read reviews about the café that’s where someone mentioned that the owner was married with kids abroad. A week later she heard the house owner was willing to meet her the same day she was supposed to meet with the café owner to reclaim her pen. So when they met up they had a not-so-fruitful conversation. Mumu asked Zhao if he’s married while Zhao asked her if she had a boyfriend. Mumu said she had a boyfriend and they were getting married end of the year. She then asked him if he would attend her wedding 🫠 They parted ways after Mumu asked for his number and told him she knew he was the one who bought the house. Mumu said she would catch up with him after her business trip

This is so true considering how some directors are messing up some well written stories its so heartbreaking! Like stories with so much potential being turned into a hard watch. I am hoping for the best from this one. :)

Ohh no l hope they won’t make him a loner. I think the Hawaiian shirt guy is Patrick (Feng) he admitted in ep 19 that he was one of the undercover people, he was the one who provided the map.

Ohh yes l forgot to spoil that part!🫠 So besides catching the Association smuggling business, Jin Zhao’s name was finally cleared after He Zhang confesses to the police so the bad guys all got what they deserved.

You are right, he really did want to give himself a chance to live, when he got the thing from Sui he told him that thing will give him at least 20 seconds. It’s really not fair for him to keep living living like an island especially during such tough times. By the end of episode 20 he was still in close contact with Sanlai so l hope they won’t break up. He was taking care of him.

Okay l get you. So from previous episodes Zhao mentioned that Wan thought the race was just for settling the feud between them but to Zhao it was one of the reasons, the other and main reason being to catch the illegal business. Wan isn’t the one being investigated by the cops, it’s the Association. So they were using this race to catch the smuggling gang but Wan didn’t know. So by tampering with the car the father was only aiming to win the competition. Mumu was supposed to give him a signal not to follow the route but this was not about winning the competition but preventing him from being targeted by the people behind the illegal business. None of the people were double agents, they only found out on competition day that the Association felt there was a mole so they decided to change the route to fish him out. From my understanding, Wan Qing may have got teary eyed from realisation of how Mumu’s love for Zhao deeply runs, something like ohh girl l can’t win against you so you truly love him to the point of willingly doing everything for him.
