For now but seems that she’s interested in that only because of th status & prestige (and like ML said her…
Yk what, if she's indeed the villain and I have to see at her worst, I love for that fictional monarchy or whatever it is, to collapse by the end of the drama...never been a fan of them in the modern era. Cuz all she cares is about is that trifling of a status to the point of killing her husband and suffocating her own child under her wing, once that gone, what's she gonna do? She doesn't seem as irredeemable as of now, but we'll see...
Think of royal family here like British royal family — they don’t do anything important and are mostly just…
Talking of British Royal family...the last thing that made them relatable to 'common folks' en masse was princess Diana... she's called people's princess for a reason. I think that sort of relatable bridge element to the monarchy is yet missing in the drama which is why it's taking time for most people to get into it. Think about it, in a modern era what's the use of the royal status if you aren't relatable at all to the normal people. The popularity of the British Royal family exists because of the extensive PR that portrays them as relatable people.
Yeah, sorry, I gave it 2 eps, this is not for me. I like the eye candy as much as the next person, but there is…
Maybe I'm a bit more forgiving, so I'll give chance to two more episodes, if it still fails to pique my interest by then, gonna drop it...The first two eps were hella boring, fell asleep twice while trying to watch it... and this sort of AU Constitutional monarchy backdrop is not my cuppa tea anyways, just in for the star power, but if plot fails there's no point of wasting time. I'm glad BWS getting a less tragic role than his previous ones, but who's giving bro those corny ahh lines😭
someone let me know what to do because i always see bad reviews on shows ive loved and on shows ive planned to…
Do you know what I do in such cases? If I have a dilema, I sit through the drama trying to hate it after seeing the reviews but when I end up liking I just bitch upon the haters.
maybe the doner was actually his father, the one who abandoned him
Ikr, the handwriting of the doctor was so bad, how'd he knows, what if all these was for nothing to begin with and he was indeed the real son, so many lives ruined all for nothing...omg, that'd be even more devastating 💔... I think it's just better to keep our illusions alive.
Rewatched this to traumatize myself again. Final note: If I know my end is near I'd probably live my remaining time recklessly carefree without regrets and worrying about the consequences too, what's the use of being so upright when I'm gonna die soon anyways. Who cares who's a red flag anymore, as long as it's not actively harming anyone. This one was kinda eye opener for me, to not take life for granted. It's tagged as a comedy but felt realistic in many aspects. If you like watching perfect characters this show is definitely not for you. Each of the characters have their own flaws, not even the sweet SML is exempted from it. The premise was a journey about discovering their true selves and acceptance.
This was my first Kdrama, watched this back in summer 2020 during Covid, left an impact on my life....came here after knowing it's getting a spinoff. Saw a lot of comments here saying it has pacing issues. Idk, I might be a bit biased here, since it was my first, but those who have problem focusing on the plot, are either newbies to the Kdrama world or have a ruined attention span due vertical chinese dramas and Netflix Kdramas. Reminder that this was a TV drama and this is what Kdramas used to be like before the Netflix and Disney capitalisation. Nowadays there are rarely any dramas with 16 eps, not long ago, like even about 4 years ago we used to have dramas with 20 eps and anything under 16 eps used to be classified as short dramas. Nowadays it's mostly 12, 10 and 8eps even the TV network ones. I get that there are production issues these days, the world has got busier after the pandemic. But back then we atleast had more conclusive endings to shows. Nowadays the show just suddenly ends leaving a void in the heart. Maybe it's just me and my nostalgia, but those late night drama sprees after 12am, took me 3-4 nights to complete this one.... I'd love to see those days back. Also a lot of comments about chemistry from the newbies, the chemistry is what I liked about this drama, not too cheezy, just perfect, not like it's solely a romantic genre either...more about fate and afterlife, if you're watching it solely for romance it might not be for you, it's more like the drama Tomorrow, but pre 2020 non-Netflix form.
Anyways, sorry for the rant, if you're seeing this and have a lot's of free time after your exams are over, this your sign to watch it, specially if you're into fantacy, horror and spiritual genre. Also, if you can, watch it from VIKI instead of Netflix, Netflix always ruins the meaning of the subtitles and a lot of cultural contex is lost in there, back in the days most of the Viki shows used to be free, and there were dedicated teams of fan transtors. There's subscription plan now and newer shows aren't free anymore, but this one is still free on Viki.
She is the only one cared enough to get him his cap he was searching for, even though she saw him as a work rival…
What to say, he felt relatable to me in that aspect...as I've been through that kind of a situation before, although I must admit he's better than me too. He confronted her despite being emotional and sorted out his feelings. Back when it happened to me, I started bottling up my emotions after trying enough cuz of my ego, now I've moved on so it doesn't matter anymore, but looking back it was immature of me, to the point where I might've villainized someone in my mind without any reason but my own ego.
P.S.: I absolutely hate k-pop fans and antifans bringing in their petty dramas into real drama discussions too.
