the ml is also literally 40 and obviously DOESNOT look 20
Trust me, if I hadn't checked his profile I'd have thought he's in his late 20's to early 30's, Soo Young too, it's different cuz I already know her for a long time, but it's as if she never aged after turning 30
Lol, isn't it the other way around? Mostly JSM Stans were shitting on this season cuz of the actress change before…
So in conclusion, it's not logical enough for you, fair point tbh...just a reminder the FL was always Naksu not Mudeok(can Mudeok even be considered a character after all, it's just a given name to the original Jin Buyeon who got lost in the lake and later rescued by the Sari village Grandma, and then she was revealed to be Jin Seolran reincarnated and occupying the baby's body that was supposed to be still born to Jin Ho-Kyung, who also trapped Naksu's soul in the same body forcing that coexistence of soul situation) let me know what you think about this angle of the plot tho, cuz I'm really enjoying this convo.

Tell me you didn't watch ss2 without telling me, it was all explained in ep2 of SS2 by Master Lee, if you didn't find it logical enough or forgot about it entirely then that's a completely different situation...as for the difference in personality, there's this dilemma whether the person without the same memories, is it even the same person anymore, even irl cases so there you have it, although I wouldn't know if that's logical enough for everyone...but one I'll certainly agree that the production quality fell down a lot with ss2, the chemistry between the MCs is what mostly kept the show alive and thriving, writings to did have plot holes here and there, which could've easily been avoided if they extended it by atleast two more episodes with proper writing and more action sequences, I mean come on now they extended ss1 to 20 eps with numerous comic fillers, expect a bit more serious plot in here, anyways the conclusion was fulfilling, leaving room for a spinoff, so who knows, if we manifest strongly enough...
It's called Alchemy of Souls for a reason, Not Alchemy of Actresses, get over it. If you'd have complained about…
Excuse me! What another account? Are you sure you're not confusing me for someone else? The irony that you're using your alt account to like your own comment, cuz no sane person with braincells would immediately notice such an old diabolical comment and immediately agree with that in the big 2025 that's nearing it's end, lol
Mostly comes from a certain toxic side of a fandom, who're mad about the FL change, you decide on which side you want to be, it's still overall high rating tho. Whether the rice cake contains honey or fish sauce, is for you to decide and find out, you'll get the reference when you watch the drama 😉
I love how everyone who likes this sequel liked it because they are a fan of the actress.while the rest of us…
Lol, isn't it the other way around? Mostly JSM Stans were shitting on this season cuz of the actress change before it even aired back in 2022, and it made JSM look bad in the eyes of real critics when she had no fault in it at all, it's just those loud annoying obsessed part of her fandom. I believe most of us discovered GYJ through the second season, so don't count us into this mess. For me personally both the seasons are good it's just that SS2 happens to have a good rewatch value, chemistry between the leads are particularly unparalleled in SS2 whereas actions scenes are good in SS1 (specially the badass Naksu scene is what got me into SS1 in the first place), JSM portrayed her character aptly too, such a shame she wasn't around for SS2. You can blame the lowering of the production quality for SS2, maybe some plotholes too, but blaming the actress is really Petty and low of a toxic side of a certain fandom, specially when the complaints started raining in even before the show started airing...and despite all that the show has overall high ratings , that should really say something, no?
I don’t mind changing the FL if it follows the story’s logic, but I must say whatever emotional impact I felt…
Naksu with amnesia feels like a totally different person cuz yeah that's Cho Yeong's personality, life she'd have lived if she didn't have a traumatising childhood and rage burning in her for revenge. The Shadow assassin, Naksu she became, was due to Jin Mu's manipulation . So we should really stop romantacising a character's trauma, it's not healthy in any sense
I can't get over how they switched the actresses. The new one is not my Naksu 🥲
It's called Alchemy of Souls for a reason, Not Alchemy of Actresses, get over it. If you'd have complained about the drop in production quality it'd have still made sense. Jeez you JSM obsessed stans are so weird, you guys make her look bad for no reason
done watching resident playbook! then decided to watch this but i skipped season 1, i heard go youn jung only…
If you just want to watch ss1 for the sake of the plot, you can do ep 1-4 and then ep 19-20 the rest kinda fills like a comic filler with important links thrown in here and there for a few minutes, if I reckon correctly ep 4 is the last time GYJ appears in SS1 as Naksu's dead body... however once you really get into it you'd probably want to watch the whole thing, re-watching the whole thing however felt impossible for me, specially with ADHD, SS2 is a different story tho, already watched it 6times by its 3rd year, lol
The romance was much better in this one and I really enjoyed that. But I was disappointed that we never got to…
Wdym her memories started to return back after her sword recognised her in ep 1 and she picked up the sword in ep 3, did you by chance missed those easter eggs?
What did she do wrong TTShouldn't you hate Do Hyuk not her....
Oh by boss I meant as in the cafe owner, not the entertainment company one, that woman sold her soul to money, at the cost of sacrificing her loved ones. I feel like deep inside somewhere she knew In-Gang's death was partly her fault, so she wanted to shift the blame for her own peace, Ah-Jin's lack of guilty conscience just made things worse
You clearly didn't get the message then, non of us sympathise with her, yet know the reason for her being like…
Yeah, not gonna argue with someone unenlightened who considers liberalism bad...What r you even doing here Grandma? Just go back to the middle ages or go back to the kitchen cooking for your joint family already.
What did she do wrong TTShouldn't you hate Do Hyuk not her....
Umm what!! Maybe for Jae O it's understandable what you've said, but what did her boss do to be manipulated like that, and In-Gang, don't excuse it like Ah-jin, blaming his weakness, she knew what she was doing back then...partly blame her lack of guilty conscience, but what else to expect from someone with ASPD?
You clearly didn't get the message then, non of us sympathise with her, yet know the reason for her being like that, ultimate takeaway: be kind to little human beings, even if you find them annoying...you don't know how your minute mistreatment is gonna turn them out in the long run
No, In Gang committing suicide was always part of the plot unless you expected something different from the webtoon…
Yeah I wondered about that too, sleeping pills was much less painful way to go, maybe he wanted to emotionally scar his peeprator the worst possible way, and thus chose the most graphic way... unfortunately the peeprator doesn't have the ability to feel such emotions, we viewers got traumatised in her stead🥲😭
time, but it's as if she never aged after turning 30
