is there a similar romance drama where the FL is mature not the typical stupid or childish type

This was more like a historical comedy/life drama to me. I enjoyed it overall. If you like romance dramas they confess their feelings for each other in episode 11 but they get together officially in episode 36 (slowburn). Their is no love triangle. No huge misunderstanding. ML likes FL and it's obvious but FL reflects/ponders their relationship until the end of the drama (ep 36). The historical plot was really good in my opinion ML faces a lot of troubles but he is able to conquer them successfully. Their is a happy ending. Story doesn't drag but if you are watching it solely for the romance it will feel like a drag because it takes a long time for them to get together. Towards the end the themes change starts off as a romance than historical than life than historical than romance again. The last two episodes are basically a conclusion.

I like them better than 2ML and 2FL

out of all the Dramas I watched he is the best kisser. I agree his kiss scenes in this show we're not his best work.

BJT is also in destined It's a romance show. His devotion is similar to that in first frost but my pet peeve is that they have very few romance scenes

I agree it dragged towards the end. I didn't like 2ML and 2FL either I was hoping she left him for the other guy but she never gave him a chance because she already liked 2ML. I wish the MLs sister and the doctor got more scenes together. I would rather see them than 2ML and 2FL

I wish they spent more time on the 3rd couple the 2nd couple was annoying I skipped most of their scenes towards the end because there was to many

I don't like how FL keeps rejecting him either. You have to watch the whole show to understand why she did it. Basically she experienced a lot of trauma and it affected her mental health which lead her to not pursue any romantic relationships. I watched the whole thing but I disliked it solely due to her rejecting him and her lack of communication. The story focuses a lot on her trauma but it's not explained in detail until the last 10 episodes . But I agree she is more neutral than cold. she keeps her distance but he keeps pursuing her. when you find out why she does it. it makes since especially because the love story and her trauma and very intertwined

I disliked that part too. I wish she had just communicated with him and her friend. I believe it was meant to expand on her trauma. People handle stressful situations differently, and it seems like she thought it would be best to run away from everyone or avoid the situation entirely. Running away, failing to communicate, and being avoidant are actually trauma responses, especially since she didn’t want any of her friends or the male lead to get hurt.
I think the writers included that choice to make the story sadder. It’s also normal for someone who is being stalked to leave in order to avoid their stalker, and it adds to the romance because this time he tries to find her and doesn’t let her go. This time, he also knows why she ran away.
Still, I would have liked the story better if she had communicated with everyone and realized that her boss, her friend, and her boyfriend would all help her.

I stuck around because Bai Jingting is a good actor but if it was anyone else I would have probably dropped

It was tough for me to watch as well. I mostly disliked the plot. Their love story had a lot of troubles but it could have been avoided by her effectively communicating with him and her friend. I am understanding because she experienced trauma and it's very relatable but I also wish she would be an adult and communicate. I believe their love for each other was off because it seemed like he was interested in her just out of physical attraction. Although he was always emotionaly there for her it was one sided. And they didn't have much of a mental or emotional connection.
I liked the 2FL and 2MLs story line better but for some reason their scenes were cut short and they stopped expanding on their story line other than the 2MLs childhood trauma. Now that I think about it both of their love stories involved one person experiencing trauma and the other helping them through it. This was a sad romance story. Mostly because of her unhealed trauma. I can relate to some parts of her story as an avoidant person but I prefer my romance stories to not have have sadness 😂

I disliked it as well. Only because the main reason why they had troubles in their relationship was because of communication issues and her being avoidant instead of telling everyone what was going on. And that annoyed me. I also feel like his interest in her was based on physical attraction rather than a mental or emotional connection. Even though he was always there for her emotionaly it was a bit one sided on her part.

I watched the whole thing but I didn't care for it much. Lots of people say it's a good show but I disliked the plot. Without spoiling it to much the plot focuses a lot on her Trauma and she is avoidant so there are communication issues. My only agitation is that a lot of their romance issues could have been avoided with communication

After the other love stories were introduced. I started liking FL and ML less and less. By the time the 2ML and 2FL got together I stopped paying attention to them.
