It's weird that they have replaced the intro for all episodes on iQIYI, but on Viki even the new episodes have the old AI intro...

You haven't understood that kisskh is for the trash on Doyban, look at the rating, kisskh is a bad cafe…
I would say that prize goes to Rebirth, but there is time, I guess...
Rebirth has 6.1 on MDL and 2.9 on Douban (on a scale from 2 to 10).

Hey there, could you please share how’s the romance in this? Great chemistry? What is the Ml’s occupation?…
I don't mind that he's a painter either, OP asked for ML's occupation and I replied.

His worst transgressions in my mind were his willingness to let Xiao Fang take the fall for posing for a nude painting, rather than admit it was a copy, and blaming her for distracting him from painting using seduction in from of their families and village officials. All because he didn't want people to know he didn't have enough vision to paint anything original.

I have no idea how she tried to continue the relationship afterwards, but I'm glad he continued his downward path and told her that she has to conform and not be special anymore so she doesn't embarrass him. Like they say, when someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.

I took a peak at the last episode and ...

They have great chemistry at the start, but ML ruins it by being an immature good-for-nothing mama's boy.
You do not want them to end up together.
He is an artist (painter).

You could say it's the POJ effect. His acting in that drama was top-notch, so the difference really stands out…
He also seemed very comfortable on the POJ set, being actively involved in how the scene was played and giving suggestions, different options on how to approach certain scenes etc.

I remember that for POJ both leads and the director mentioned that everyone was relaxed on set when they were filming a kissing scene and then the managers showed out and ruined everyone's mood with their bickering.

I don't know why this show has such a low rating, it's fresh and funny and heartwarming and heartbreaking, and it's a joy to watch the characters and the chaos they create around them.

Xiao Fang is one of the most memorable FL, with a very strong personality and a great sense of humour. Fingers crossed she gets her happy ending on her own terms.

or a camera panning in from behind a shelf, a window, a door, angled low and zooming in unceremoniously...where…
Those drive me crazy. Unless you have someone hiding there, listening in or watching the scene, don't film it like that! It's so unprofessional and pulls me out of the scene immediately.

The answer seems to be affirmative for both questions.

For me it was a relief that they didn't have a baby. Ye Li is not ready psychologically for pregnancy and postpartum,…
The fact that they didn't show what she wants is the point. She has spent her adolescence living in delusion and only for redemption/revenge, and now that her goals are accomplished, she doesn't know what she wants (except for husband).

She needs to figure that out and also sort out how to recover properly from her mental issues so that, with the help of a greater support system, she doesn't get triggered and fall back.

I think she also has depression, hence her falling into her "old ways" when her husband was away.

Anyway, if she wants kids, she should have a longer recovery period and hopefully her husband will be by her side for more than 6 months at a time before that happens.

I don’t know if this makes sense but I can understand how they broke up (10 years ago, because of the grandpa…
Neither of them had moved on, so it was easy to fall back into their relationship

The story kept me hooked, but the ending felt a little lacking. I honestly wish they had shown them with a baby…
For me it was a relief that they didn't have a baby. Ye Li is not ready psychologically for pregnancy and postpartum, and it's possible she never will be.
Plus they don't need babies to be happy.

i noticed novels with rebelling against a king/ruler or displace them is usually altered. certain them like time…
Thanks! Now that I'm reading the whole context, I remember that Are You The One was one of the first dramas that were affected by the cap.

QUESTION because I think I missed this: I get the chinese original title, 莫离 MO LI, means something like "always…
In Chinese, "Mo Li" (莫离) means "Never Part," which sounds exactly like the word for Jasmine (茉莉). There’s a beautiful saying: "Sending you jasmine, wishing that you never leave". They certainly reference that since they use jasmine flowers in the promo materials.

The drama couldn't have been that long, it was made during the 40-episode cap era, and neither lead had a high enough profile or following for the producers to risk making two "seasons", like they did with Flourished Peony/In the Name of Blossom.
