He looks better with brownish hair, black is too severe. And the highlights and flyaways from PoJ give him a soft boyish charm.
In Story of the Kunning Palace he was supposed to be 28ish years old and look strict and formidable due to his position. ZLH was 24 and is younger than Bai Lu (who played a teenager) so he probably was aged up with makeup as well. He was never relaxed, open and smiling like he is in PoJ.
God I cannot wait for him to start flirting and teasing the FL in this drama!
Do you think ML will bite FL? He seemed to have a kink for that in the novel, one of the commenters even joked that it was because he was born in the year of the dog.
