Regarding the ages of the leads in the drama... this is what happens when you age people up and do not update the chronology of the plot.
We know the FL is 18 at the start of the drama, that the massacre happened 16 y ago and that the ML was 5 when his mom commited suicide ( I hope I am not misremembering it, a rewatch will clear this part up).
That would mean that FL's parents fled with her as an infant, which doesn't make sense when you factor in the conversation on NYE between FL's dad and Gen He when they decide the name of the baby just and also the alternate universe where ML is 5ish and FL was not born yet. In the novel, FL is 16, ML is 20.

Same thing happened in LLTG, the same screenwriter changed the circumstance under which the FL's mom went to war - in the book FL was 3, the war lasted approx 10 years, when the parents get home she's 14. However, in the drama FL's mom left after giving birth and they came back when FL was 15. From that point on, the characters would either say the war had been ongoing for 10 (like in the book) or 15 years (new timeline for drama), to the confusion of those at home who are trying to keep up with the chronology of the story.

She's 16 in the novel. They age her up so everything is legal by modern standards.

They start fighting at 13-14. The same thing happens with Song Mo in Blossom and Ling Buyi in Love Like The Galaxy.

Qian Qian and Qi Min were not compatible - she was a modern woman who cherished her freedom and he was the Crown Prince. Had they gotten married, she would have been one of the many concubines in the royal harem, stuck in the palace for the rest of her life.

Almost all of the emperors I’ve seen in Chinese dramas are either useless, unintelligent and very very stupid.…
The emperors in Love Like The Galaxy, The Double, Story Of Kunning Palace and Youthful Glory were intelligent too (and some of them were really nice people)

They have two kids. It was mentioned before they went to battle/protect the border at the end.
In that conversation he tells her she's the mother of two and should behave accordingly. It's his reply to her "get behind me in case of danger" line.

Ok. So they were like the ones who asked why she was washing her hands in the novel🤭

Why is it impossible?
Their managers hate each other. It was a miracle this drama got done with both as leads

I haven't gotten a chance to watch yet a little later today but other than 38 are there any other cut clips?
I don't know. I saw someone mention that there seem to be less cuts in the Netflix version of the show? I'm not sure how it's possible. Maybe someone who has both iQIYI/weTV and Netflix cam check? I know they don't have 38 until Saturday.

Which scene did they cut?Lemme Goan watch the real scene. Not done with the drama thou
When I saw it on Facebook the other day, I actually thought that chinese censorship isn't what it used to be. I don't understand why the scene was missing in the official airing. Was the leaked version pre-censorship?

Are the battle scenes extended too? Or what other scenes where different?

I checked both iQIYI and WeTV and both have cut the bed scene from episode 38.

Apart from my frustration regarding the cut scene, loved the drama, loved the endings. I'm glad they showed that YQQ and QM were not meant to be, her being a mondern woman who craved freedom and him being the crown prince who would have a harem of women.

someone said "maybe the bathtub scene in ep 38 was cut as the punishment of leaks"
Let's punish the nice people who don't watch on illegal websites and reward the bad ones who do? I'm upset I saw the scene on Facebook so my expectations where high. I kept hoping until the end that I would see it 😭
