TJ is the catalyst. 2 FL were stabbed by MS? The third was not stabbed. Why, because he love her? So I guess he…
If what MS did all under his control he would go to prison for sure. But thats is a 'if'. Will see.

3 more episodes all will be reviewed. But let's ask some basic questions regarding the role of TJ who many mentioned he 'used the 3 fls', without the need of spoiler tag.
-Did he ever provided info to Connect in to help them?
-Would everything happened to the 3 fls and other victims still happened with or without him?
-Is him only acting as a witness (sometimes by video recording) of what happened to them and other victims?

Setting up , how? I think sometimes their interests align, sometimes not.
How can the killing of the prosecutor be a setup? Is it a planned action by Ra Yeong? The video of him an evil guy yes.

I can get if Baek Tae Ju is trying to take revenge on Seong Tae Im for an old case but why are you going after…
Seong Tae Im is mother of Sin Jae, and also has relationship with Kwon Joong Hyun who is key to the whole Connect in. And Min Seo is daughter of Ra Yeong who is also victim of Seo Hyun Woo another key member of Connect in. So enough reasons to build up connection with LnJ. Tae Ju never shown actively involved with the 3 fls and their business.

I honestly still cannot believe this drama basically got hardly any mentions when it was aired.... I literally…
Impossible big networks like Netflix, Disney+, or Viki not picking it up. It is better than many many there. May be the R+ content. But Netflix already lots of R+ there.

What a drama! Unlike many others, not a single boring moment in the middle episodes. Enjoyment in watching dramas all about excitement, emotions, unpredictability. If everything is logical, all characters no flaw, there wouldn't be any more story to tell
My take on Tae Joo at this stage is he is for sure well educated with the most up-to-date technology, and instead of the one (or group of people) who have created Conect in, which existed before his time, he actually broken into it and infested it. He just outsmarted it. Let's see about it.

I have been wondering the same!! Him fixing that hack, plus being so pro L&J. On one hand, it feels too good…
Tae Joo is in the same age bracket of Sin Jae. Do you think he would be way too young to have created the Connect app?

This drama is a gift that keeps on giving, so… maybe I’m speaking too soon, but I really like Baek Taejoo.…
Besides the LnJ party in ep 1, Taejoo was shown only once in the public in ep 5 when he introduced Prime to a gallery of reporters and guests including Sin Jae and her mother. I couldn't spot a single Connect related character there. Worth a thought.

Is there any indication in the drama roughly how long Connect has been in operation?

Tae Joo might well be a villains but for fun I will list my doubts:
All users. administrators are in older generation of Taejoo. So seems Connect had been established for a while with such extensive older users. So is Taejoo actually too young to create Connect?
Is there a chance that Taejoo actually a sex assaulted sufferer or one of his family? Anyone here ever considered a young good looking male can also be a sufferer of Connect?
So he might have determined since young to counter Connect by studying hard and establishing Prime
He might targeted L&J from start to team up together for the same goal.
Pure guess, no proof.

With an extra week to wait for the next episode let me add a bit of my personal view of this drama. Always a fan of Agatha Christie's murder mysteries (Hercule Poirot the best detective among all) the main interest has always been how the super human detective finds the culprit(s). Suspects are usually flawed in characters and most of the times the least obvious one is the one. To make the story engaging and dramatic, logical holes in the storylines are unavoidable. So Silent Truth is right up in my alley adding it got 2 of my favorite leads in their prime acting age. Both Takeuchi Ryoma and Inoue Mao have the classical looks and their acting more natural. Unlike many others here, I am also focused on the romatic subplot, which is actually the key part of the storyline, the relationship developments of the 2 first loves. It is a forbidden love, left right and centre at present time (everything is against it). That's what make it so intensive, typical jdrama. And actually everytime the 2 are on screen together, the tension is so high with every word and every look they exchanged (very well directed). The 2 never overacted but the longing looks, and glazes of Makiko on Junichi enough to burn my TV screen, always. For sure the confession of Junichi is the pinnacle moment of the drama so far brought by the acting of Takeuchi Ryoma. My take on Makiko is she had long given up to be together long term with Junichi, but just getting understandings and comforting moments with him, and her desire now, also according to Nara's view, mainly to release his pain from guilt and make him become once again a normal happy person (typical jdrama romance tragedy). So both the unveiling of the interconnected murder mystery and the love line have made this drama so interesting to me. Just my personal view points. But another example you see what you want to see?

So far Netflix shown ep 8 on Mar 3rd or 4th (Australia). TV Asahi Mar 10th. So Netflix users will know 1 week…

Any romance as subplot?
Ok definition of romance is quite different to each person. Here one of the main fl met a ceo and developed a relationship all the way. So far short sharp and sweet and the only normal couple in tbis drama. Screen time is limited. And no one knows how it will end yet.

I have to say the Kang x Baek couple is the main reason I click on new episodes, they're vibing and powerful together,…
Baek has so little screen time and everytime he is on screen he is always with Kang. No way anyone can tell if he is a good or bad guy up to now. Pure guesses. And you are right this is such a dark drama it need something sweeter to brighten the storylines. There are way too many bad men here already.

Just because too long a wait for next week just add a bit more here. This is a dark mystery jdrama, not a romcom.…
I have no problem with any ending but for me, the 4 friends have been too untrueful that happy ending unlikely. I was really hoping they would disclose the hiding of the gun after Junichi's confession but they still haven't learnt the lesson.

Will ep 8 be aired on 3rd or 10th March? There seems to be conflicting information on line. I hope MDL is correct…
So far Netflix shown ep 8 on Mar 3rd or 4th (Australia). TV Asahi Mar 10th. So Netflix users will know 1 week in advance. Strange.

Anything else could happen in this series but if Makiko and Junichi end up together, it's getting a <5. Makiko…
Just because too long a wait for next week just add a bit more here. This is a dark mystery jdrama, not a romcom. Chance for such jdrama genre to have a happily after ending for the 2 leads is next to zero, irrespective what one wish for. Fate already stopped them from being together 23 years ago, and another linked murder, plus a gf now seems the 2 first loves again destined never to be together (likely opposite in kdrama). Bittersweet will be the usual ending.

Watching this weekender because of this couple the main leads. And found them so attractive right from ep 1. Not…
Anyway enjoyable so far. Not yet bored.

Nara definitely set a trap for Makiko. She wants to lure Makiko out with the gun. She is a good police officer…
Quite a few not liking her here. But she is a super smart detective, pretty much like Hercule Poirot. Basically none of the 4 is giving her any truth nor help. She actually very kind as well and acting like the 'third person' watching over the 4 friends. If this dark drama has any ending other than sad ending (most likely bittersweet as this is a jdrama) she will be the only driving force.
