I can understand where you’re coming from. I wish we got more of the final episode throughout the series. I feel that they made some of the more emotional topics as a rom com plot device and it missed the mark there. Once I got past that, I can say I enjoyed it more than I didn’t!
I’m really liking this drama… just not loving how they’re depicting trauma in a romantic sense. Being mentally ill isn’t romantic. but, I digress! when it’s good, it’s really good. I’m almost done and I can’t wait to see how they wrap everything up.
I’m lowkey wanting to take it back because this whole master thing is getting kinda weird hahah
okay, I finished it…. it’s an okay drama to turn your brain off to. it’s not profound so, don’t go in expecting much more than a surface level love story with low stakes and low angst.
ah, man. I fell into Esther’s trap…. I think the only thing I won’t watch is the Speed and Love one because… step-siblings? but, I’m not entirely sold on me never watching it. I really am loving her as an actress.
I needed to feel something again… so I’m rewatching this again. definitely a big guilty pleasure of mine even though it’s not perfect. perfect amount of cringe and the visuals are great. spectacular. xoxo
I have a question 🤔 changheng is the Orchid's fated love and man. just like we saw in the mirror 🪞 he's…
if you watch it in full you’ll see that these occurrences were never fated to happen entirely. We’ve only ever seen her preparing to get married, never the actual act. Orchid’s ultimate fate was to save the 3 realms which was heartbreakingly changed by Dongfang.
absolutely incredible. like most have previously said, the mortal realm arc was a bit slow… until it wasn’t! I’m so happy I stuck it out. this was one of the best dramas I’ve ever seen. now, I’ll be chasing this high until the next one. just… wow..
Holy miscommunication trope. It is so long-winded! I do love this show though so far. Very quirky and cute but… the miscommunication does not need to last this long hahaha
