You're the one trolling here with your 'inexperience' insistence because no matter 'who' the actress is, someone like you will find fault and keep complaining. Did I tell you that I'm a fan of PA and I've been waiting for ages for a season 2 to come up. But instead of a PA season 2, ZLY and LGX did The Legend of Shen Li, I've watched it but dropped because I finally got over them after years of waiting for PA season 2. So, when they announced about Rebirth and that Huang Yang Tian Tian, the child actor who played young Chu Qiao in PA got casted as Chu Qiao, I was very happy because she fits the role perfectly. She's very brave to take on the challenge and fill the hole that ZLY left. So, in this drama no matter what people like you says about her, I can only see her potential as an actress and I want to thank her for making my wish come true.

So, the question is who are you suggesting to play Chu Qiao if HYTT is inexperience as you say? Even if a more experience actress get casted, peope like you will still find fault, right?

I think the amnesia part is intentional like a parallel in PA where Chu Qiao lost her memories when she fell from the cliff after battling Yuwen Hao.

After watching 58/68 episodes of PA, I'm tired of seeing a tough, serious, restraint and hard-headed Chu Qiao, she and Yuwen Yue never show their true feelings for each other, I always wanted to see her vulnerable side, so her being weak in the first 5 episodes of Rebirth is a welcome treat.

Oh really? But I don't see them as Chu Qiao, how can they convince me? I've been watching Cdramas for more than a decade now and I know all the actresses I've mentioned and I've seen some of their works. Even if Bai Lu portrayed Chu Qiao, I won't be able to see her as Chu Qiao because her features are not similar to ZLY.

Chu Qiao got injured in the frozen lake battle, she was rescued by Yan Xun, she lost here memories because Yan Xun was drugging her all along. That's how she got vulnerable. If you want to know what happens next just watch the drama or just drop it. 😑😑😑

Haha anyone else like who? I watched PA when it aired and when it ended, I went and searched for the novel to read it ( but at the time it was hard to find good english translations ) I even created a Weibo account to get updates about season 2 but it never came. If ZLY, really wants to comeback and play the role of Chu Qiao, she could have done it years ago. As a fan who faithfully waited for a season 2, the only suitable actress for me to play Chu Qiao other than ZLY is Huangyang Tian Tian, and so far HYTT didn't disappoint me. In this kind of genre, age is just a number, so it's not a big deal.

Even if Bai Lu, Dilreba, Zhao Lusi, Zhou Ye, Wu Jinyan, Lu Yuxiao, Tian Xi Wei, Shen Yue etc., get casted people like you will find reasons to complain. 🤣🤣🤣

Although Chu Qiao is a general, she is only human, she's not an immortal who can magically heal her injuries when she's hurt. She can be vulnerable sometimes.

Haha it's obvious it's going to be Zhuge Yue and Chu Qiao in the end. Together they will create a new kingdom free of slavery. No one can pull off Chu Qiao's character other than Huang Yang Tian Tian, her similarity with ZLY makes it easier to the eyes. Plus she got the moves and her acting is also great. All the characters are multi-dimensional, they have goals and motivations that's why they do what they do. I don't think there's anything to complain about the drama.

I think Rebirth will not go in that direction. From what I read there were changes in Princess Agents and it didn't follow Chu Qiao's origin from the novel. In the novel, Chu Qiao is a twenty something soldier who died and transmigrated in Jing Xiaolu's body. In PA, Chu Qiao is the daughter of a rebel sect that is the archnemesis of Qingshan Manor. I'm not hoping that they'll explore the flower tattoo in her back, but I hope they tackle Chu Qiao's origin. Because in the novel Chu Qiao revealed that secret to Zhuge Yue.

Because that's how his character developed in the story. He went from easygoing and carefree to ruthless and obsessive. If you really watched PA, you would understand why he became obsess with Chu Qiao.

You can start this without watching Princess Agents first. PA ended with a cliffhanger scene when both Chu Qiao/Xing'er and Zhuge Yue/Yuwen Yue fell in the ice lake. Rebirth started where Princess Agents ended, there are flashbacks in first 5 episodes to give context about what happened in the past and later the plot move forward to their current situations. In PA, Chu Qiao was a slave picked up by Yuwen Yue and later he trained her to become a spy after seeing her potential. Yan Xun became friends with Chu Qiao and they shared hardships together. Yan Xun's clan was executed by the Emperor of Yong, in order to save Yan Xun, Princess Chun'er begged her father to marry him. But Yan Xun rebelled with Chu Qiao and they flee to Great Yan. Then in the frozen lake, Yan Xun devised a plan to deceive Chu Qiao that led to Yuwen Yue's death. Chu Qiao went to save Yuwen Yue but it was to late. End of Princess Agents.

It's because you only see her age, but not her acting. If you throw away your bias, you won't feel weird about it.

Because no suitable actress will be able to pull up Chu Qiao's character other than Huang Yang Tian Tian. I'm very particular with the actors and actresses of the dramas that I watch. And so, far I don't have any complains because all of the cast of Rebirth suited all the characters they portray. Also, kudos to Huang Yang Tian Tian because she nailed her portrayal of Chu Qiao.

It's just their bias. They couldn't get passed it and now they want to discourage others from watching by spreading bad reviews. 😑😑😑
