I’m totally willing to cut the protagonist some slack for actually killing the guy who almost raped the female lead—the only reason he didn't succeed was that she wasn't there. I don't think I'd ever seen a protagonist actually kill someone—no chit-chat or anything, just straight-up killing them.
If there is no one to trouble them, there ain't no story to make the leads stick together after all. So there…
I know that, lol, let me complain about those hangers-on, lol, the drama is doing a great job with the cast and the story, I hope those who deserve to suffer get what's coming to them.
That widow's family—her and that brother of hers—really stress me out; they’re both absolute scum who love playing the victim. I want them to go fuck themselves, and I want that "madam" and the protagonist's ex-best friend to get screwed over too—what filthy people. And the army crowd? My God, my protagonists don't get a single minute of peace, do they? I just hope that in the end, they end up in the upper class where no one can humiliate them anymore.
I'm on episode 19 of the drama and I'm really enjoying it; it's been a while since I watched a school-set drama. The OSTs are good, and I like the chemistry among the cast and between the couple—plus, the male lead looks better with long hair.
That hair scene... do you realize how significant that scene is? My God, what a great drama—I am absolutely loving it. Our male lead deserves the world; I’m charmed by the way he treats our female lead.
Do you know what I'm watching ep 12 of road to splendour right now, and seeing the scene of him cutting his own…
Well, as someone who loves romance, I’m really enjoying the romance in this drama. It doesn't feel forced at all; it’s a slow burn and genuinely good. You know, they have chemistry, and the story is so engaging that I hardly even notice the romance until it actually comes to the forefront—I’m really loving it.
I'm back again to say that I keep loving this drama more and more; their story is so great to follow. I really want to see them both make it big in life—and screw everyone else around them. They truly deserve a good life after everything they've been through. Plus, they have amazing chemistry, right? =D
Okay, from episode 6 onwards, we really start shipping them, right? They have so much chemistry; I love seeing the two of them on screen—they’re a great match. I love their characters' personalities. Seriously, I’ve already commented way too much about this drama today—I’m obsessed with it.
I know it's a romance drama, but I'm so focused on the story that sometimes I forget, haha. Then when the main characters start to feel something, I realize they're going to be a couple, haha. Episode 5 is so good, I haven't skipped a single scene yet, everything is interesting, I'm literally addicted.
Her eating the spoiled food just to throw up? The rain scenes, the acting in that scene—oh my god, I’m in love with this drama. I’m so obsessed; it’s been a long time since a drama captivated me like this. It has the potential to be my favorite drama of the year.
Oh my god, I know I'm gushing, but seriously—the OST, the sound, the effects—this Episode 4 is pure cinema. God, I want that whole family of hers to go to hell.
