I'm reading it. The available translation isn't great but it's readable and we get to read inner thaughts of Ing's character which are funny and creepy 🙃

I only found out last year that beloved enemy is part of 188 series even though that novel have been one of my favourites since 2017. It feels so much better written than the other novels from that series. Or maybe the other ones that I have read are also good but the available english translations are bad.

Yok is around 18 and Ing is around 27. Also there's a line in novel in which Sui Ying (Ing's character in novel) thinks something like "he's also underage. Is it worth committing crime" so yok is probably few months short of being 18 when they first meet.

It's bl novel collection from Chinese author Shui Qian Cheng and most of them are extremely toxic. Most of the tops are crazy obsessive and some of them are just in lust, not even in love till the end. This drama is the adaptation of one of the novels from that series called "my beloved fool". There are other thai BL dramas which are adapted from the novels of this series like My Stand In , Yesterday etc and I'm not the biggest fan of those dramas.
My favourite novel from 188 series is "beloved enemy" which has similar consent issue as this one or even worse because the main lead in that doesn't instigate the fire like the main lead of this drama. I haven't read my beloved fool yet and I can't judge or compare this drama to the novel so I'd wait and see if the drama works for me or bores me like other thai adaptations of other novels from 188 series.

One of my favourite bl novels is from 188 gong series so no it's not a downright yes or no issue for me. It depends on the story and characters overall. I have never enjoyed a thai drama based on that series though so idk. I'd have to watch a couple of more episodes to know if this drama is it for me or not.

I don't follow them and I haven't watched their series but I have seen countless discussion of IG predicting the end of their pairing. How only one of them was promoting their series and how the other one has no filter and was clearly not interested in working as a pair anymore. (Idk which is which because I wasn't interested in them) But I know that people have been predicting this for a long time now.

Mingxuan's mistake was that he made his sister's wishes his only priority without thinking about anyone or anything else. And that he didn't calculate the situation well before telling that family about Shen Mo. He didn't think that they'll physically harm Shen Mo. Later he saved Shen Mo and did what he could to help him. He never lied about his identity when Shen Mo was unstable and only started posing as his lover when Shen Mo was not functioning at all, eating rotten food, wasting away in that room. When Shen Mo forgot about their time together, Mingxuan proposed the fuck buddy contract because he knew Shen Mo couldn't work and was in financial trouble. I still don't think he can be called the worst when there are so many other candidates for that title.

The kiss in the end of episode 4 is so hot. I know it has the consent issue but the teacher was kissing back in the end. Right?

I'm pretty sure there's gonna be rumours that he's a predator and then he'd forced to transfer to some other school or some other career.

6 out of 8 episodes are out but no relationship. I think this is gonna have an open ending 🙃

Are we seriously gonna label mingxuan the worst top when we have literal rapists, kidnappers and what not in so many cbl?

Only BL in which I find a child tolerable 💀
