darling, you need to learn the facts before you say that tthe show was lowly rated but what's the point of explaining this to you anyway!? nothing you said is a fact, it’s all just your opinion. Just because you didn't love it doesn't mean a thing. the show was controversial because of the age gap, but plenty of people loved it and the couple. the numbers proved it, but keep telling yourself you're right if it makes you happy lol.

Even when the schedule was pushed back due to football matches, the audience stayed loyal. on top of that, it reached to the Global Top 5 on Amazon Prime, proving its massive international appeal. I think it’s such a crime they didn't kiss! Their chemistry was so natural and sweet, you could literally feel the romance just by the way they looked at each other.they were such a gorgeous couple. (And Lee Jung-jae is honestly so handsome and charismatic). obviously, the only reason they didn't kiss was because of the backlash over the age gap. South Korea is so conservative and judgmental about that stuff, it’s such a bummer. they totally overcame the age gap issue . I totally loved them and that romcom!

I’ve watched a bit of 'A Hundred Memories' and 'When the Phone Rings', but I don’t think you need to watch too many of his dramas to understand his acting style and vibe.

Those who say he can't act just think differently than you, and that's perfectly fine! personally, from what I've seen, I think he's a below average actor. his facial expressions are static and flat. some people connect with that 'micro-expression' style, but I don't.

I can understand why you felt that way, it's a controversial topic. But I think Lee jung jae is so handsome and charismatic, even in middle age, and it’s not like she was a young girl, she’s 35. There have been series with age gaps where the female character was much younger, but it's ok i respect your opinion.

I think Lim ji yeon and Lee jung jae were a beautiful couple. They looked great together visually, and their chemistry felt natural, charming, and convincing. Both are top-tier actors, and the age gap didn't bother me at all.
On the other hand, I didn't really connect with her pairing with Heo nam jun. I’m not impressed by his acting. it feels mediocre at best. I’ll wait to see the series, but for now, I just feel like they don't quite fit.

What I mean is that if the villainous couple isn't actually evil or if they turn good it will be a disappointment for the many people who want to watch the show specifically because they are villains. And there are quite a few people like that.

I don't like the pairing between them either. True, the rom-com hasn't started yet and it's a bit hard to judge right now, but my gut feeling is that there's a gap between them in terms of charisma and presence. I feel like she will overshadow him. He has tired-looking facial expressions/eyes. And to whoever disagrees with me, it's all good, it's okay to have different opinions.

I feel like they’re trying to sell this romcom as 'different' just because the main couple are villains, but it honestly looks like the same old formula. You already know they’re gonna have a redemption arc and turn 'good' by the end. The trailer and the genre give it all away

Yes, it seems like a bad choice for the ML, especially when the FL is lim ji yeon- great actress! I can tell it's common that in the korean industry they cast avarage actors for the main role because of their visuals.

well, i did watch a little bit from the first episode, and yeah he's anemic. lack charisma that ML should have.

First of all, if you like the main couple- Lee Jung-jae and Lim Ji-yeon, that’s already a good enough reason to watch. their acting is just on another level. Some people were bothered by the age gap, but it didn't bother me one bit, honestly, I loved them as a couple on screen.
It’s a hate-to-love comedy, it’s super entertaining, hilarious, witty, and lighthearted, with those heartwarming moments. It feels different from the typical, formulaic K-dramas. there's something realistic about it that really hits home. the romance is definitely there, but in a pure and subtle way.
I highly recommend it!

I think his visuals are better then his acting . i can see why people likes his visuals sometimes, but from what i watched, i didn't like his acting.

I didn't hear of this actor before he was cast in this show, and later i watched him a little bit , but I totally get what you're saying. Something about his vibe, especially next to Lim Ji-yeon, just doesn't work for me. He feels like one of those actors who gets ahead mostly because of their looks (and even then, I wasn't really feeling his look). He just doesn't look like lead-actor material but let's see. I'll still give the show a chance because the plot sounds interesting and because of Lim Ji-yeon- she was amazing in Nice to Not Meet You. (Her chemistry with Lee Jung-jae there was incredible, they actually really suit each other-might be an unpopular opinion, but that's my opinion).
