amen. how many celebs have suicided over smaller struggles they deal with & ruined rep, but this pos takes…
Just to add…., Because of his ability to hire the legal team he hired, other innocent celebrities who fall victim to cyberbullying can thank him for exposing cyber defamation for what it is. The law is changing due to this case - thanks to kSH’s legal team. High-profile, innocent victims can fight back now, too, and not leave their industry or make the extreme choice so many others have made before them because they didn’t have the ability to fight back.
At the supposed timeframe age of consent was 13. (it has since been raised to 16). It has not been proven in court…
Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I’m sure I read that once the investigation determined the evidence brought to them was fake, they went several steps farther. They concentrated on both KSH & KSR’s timelines and any other verifiable evidence (digital or non-digital) there was from her minor years in order to independently determine if KSH actually had a relationship with her while she was a minor. They found no evidence, independent of the fake evidence, to support the accusations. I can’t find that article but I read it in the last couple of weeks.
Here’s why you are a troll -you are about stirring up emotion to slander someone. You are not in honest pursuit of the truth. If you did as much as this MDL poster (in the link) did to explain themself then I could respect you, But you just say words without any backup, either to express an unintelligent, willfully uninformed opinion, OR to sway public opinion in your direction.
That kind of posting worked for so many months in concert with Garo Sareo and his band of cyber bullies. But now that the authorities have completed their thorough investigation and he with his 2 buddies behind bars, somehow the words of an innocent man (KSH in case you forgot) have been proven true.
but Trolls and cyber bullies will not rest and must continue to spew this tired rhetoric -and have the audacity to go on someone else’s MDL page, trying to tie in another innocent man, JHI, for believing in his friend all along.
Shame on you!
It’s not just KSH’s fans….., the public is getting tired of the simpletons who cannot and will not do their research and support their damning comments with proven FACTS.
I’ve seen your twisted comments other places so I know you are familiar with this poster, in the link, who tirelessly sought out the facts and who independently came out with the same conclusion as the investigators.
if you have irrefutable proof of your claims, bring it. otherwise stay silent about KSH.
How unexpected? He literally never stopped following Kim Soohyun on instagram
I may have replied to the wrong person. If that’s the case, I sincerely apologize. However, this thread is confusing because I honestly and respectfully can’t tell if you are supporting JHI or not.
This is my first watch and I’m nearly finished. This is truly a masterpiece. I agree there are a lot of moving parts. But that’s the point, right? To keep the viewer working it like a puzzle until it’s finished. I’ve been entranced!
I can relate. I’ve only been watching KDramas for about 18-19 months but I’ve already watched Healer 3 times.…
Thank you for those suggestions. I started Confidence Queen but put it on hold for awhile. I’ll get back to it. My sister loved all 3 seasons of Taxi Driver. I am a big fan of Lee Je Hoon.
Excellent casting of Yoo Hae Jin and Park Hae Il. Lee Min Ho is 39 and for all his good looks, he does not pass the appearance of a young, inexperienced reporter test. He has a natural commanding presence on screen which could play against him here. This is a true-story adaptation. Is it fair to cast him as a ‘rookie.’? IMO, this is a feature film and could be criticized for this point. A 35-40 year-old reporter should be seasoned, not a rookie.
I don’t dislike LMH but I think it could be a miscast because viewer perception is that we should be looking at a much younger person who is still navigation his role and corruption in national-scale politics in this role. There are some great 24-29 year old actors who could do justice to a rookie journalist role like Choo-young Woo, Lee Chae Min, and Ryeon to name three, but there are more.
It’s too late, of course since this movie is ready for the TFF.
She has perfect chemistry with Park Seo Joon in What's wrong with secretary Kim (WWWSK). Now that I think about…
Agreed. I haven’t seen all her dramas yet but IMO so far, her best co-star chemistry was in Healer and WWWSK. A close second would be with Kim Jae Uck in Her Private Life.
I finished watching and after checking the cast I was shocked.Till the very end I did not realize that the lead…
I heard she had plastic surgery sometime after that which did change her look. She’s beautiful and elegant but I liked her earlier look a little better.
Yes the choice of soundtrack is a major complain in healer, if you scroll down there are people complaining about…
I think the music issue was more of a complaint for the a lot of dramas in that time-period.
I have to take several things into account when watching dated KDramas and sometimes the music is one of them. Another is the cinematography, camera angles, colorization, etc., Then there’s the settings. Sometimes (thinking of The Master’s Sun) the sets look just like sets - for daytime soap operas (for US watchers). I do my best to change the mode setting on my TV to get it to look like it’s a film and not a stage play.
Bottom line, the stories and the acting have to stand out for me because some dramas have great stories and acting but were produced with low budgets.
Healer had a great story/acting/cinematography/etc. The music didn’t bug me too much but I recognize it was an issue. As for the OST, Eternal Love by Michael Learns to Rock is the biggest standout and is on my playlist.
I can’t excuse bad editing, though. Great dramas and films are made in the editing room in any country.
