ep24 he was crying so cutely poor babyðŸ˜ðŸ’–gosh what a pretty crier im trying not to get distracted🫠but im so glad she said those things out loud coz she really has been overlooking him and not paying any attention. everyone noticed things about him which she hadnt despite having him by her side for decades. finally he doesnt have to feel paranoid and insecure all the time over this.

i didnt think i'd get attached to him of all people when i was watching the first 4 episodes but then ep5 came and he just kept on giving. i thought he was finished in ep10 when he got stabbed (the way he pulled it out was incredible, it felt so real) but he stayed a while longer to stretch out the feels lolðŸ˜
its a satisfying conclusion to the journey if i dont poke at it but it really looks suspicious and ambiguous with the visuals of the wusu sea and the talks about nether sea😠plus the way the showed the crossing of the carriage and the goodbye looks so much like a parting scene and death for miss zhang that im choosing to ignore it for an ending thats comparable to the gold we saw under the shifting sands.

indeed 🤜🤛 for me the last scene singlehandedly elevated the score. i love the desert so the setting was great for me, the music was absolutely peak and a lot of the things felt like reading a manga or exploring a video game, in fact one of my fav manhuas of all times use a similar setting and styling so it was a familiar territory. but sometimes they did more than just the desert and sand colors and used a yellowish filter to make it more yellow, sometimes in not very yellow places even, which i didnt like.
