This is one of those guilty pleasures Wattpad-like stories that are very fun to binge watch. This particular one is very good for the chemistry between the leads, both are on fire in this one and you can feel it through the screen. I was very surprise that the FL was so good at acting, her voice was too babyish at times but her crying scenes were done right and I wasn’t expecting that. There are many red flags overall in the story and the budget was not great, but I tend to ignore it because the actors put in a lot of effort in this one despite all of that. There was also very weird CCP propaganda near the end, but I thought it was very funny. I hope Chinese dramas start putting trigger warnings in their content some day, the amount of SA intents to this FL were too much. Regardless, I hope they release a second season since it got so much buzz!!

Also, I understand where the show is coming from but the power imbalance is off. Harin has too much money and influence, yet I’m supposed to believe that the FL can get the upper hand. Idk technically speaking harin losing the game would be like a kid losing his favorite toy, yet for SooJin losing the game is being socially buried and bullied, and it can never be the same. Even when Harin doesn’t get what she wants I can’t get fully into it because I know there’s no real consequences

I’m curious about something, why would Su Ji’s father enroll her kid in a private school? Public education in SK is good and he didn’t plan to stay for longer than 3 months initially so why would he chose this school? I’m in ep 5 right now and I’m not sure if he was motivated by power or if he’s not interested in that.

I feel so sorry for LuSi, what did the production crew do to this girl? who is her company not protecting her or speaking up? I’m heartbroken, and she’s so young. I’ll pray for her full recovery and everyone to be held accountable

I love Ryusei in this role, he portreys the depth and loneliness of the character so well behind the mask. The FL is beautiful and does an amazing job at her role too. They both have very good chemistry and you can feel the tension rising each episode. I really like this version, specially the cinematography and mature vibes. I hope we get a satisfactory ending, I know its not an ideal relationship but If the characters can get good closure I would be happy.

This year there were so many disappointed dramas. I don’t know what’s going on with writers or the production, my fav were Amids a Snowstorm of love, As beautiful As you and Love Game in the Eastern Fantasy. I’m looking forward to finish Pearl Girl and The Double on Netflix. Besides that most dramas were hard to finish or disappointed.

I always take her reviews with a grain of salt. Her fav drama was probably Eternal Love and she likes anything similar to that. In terms of acting she’s very picky and without a censor. Some of her recomm are good and others very biased to certain actors / production companies. Tbh this year was very disappointing in terms of quality on most generes.

I’m obsessed, couldn’t sleep last night until I watch all eps released so far! it’s beeen so long since a drama had me on a cliffhanger ep after ep. Not only the main leads did an amazing job with the chemistry and crying scenes, but the plot and arcs are all so interesting. It’s like watching an anime or reading a comic. the writers and producers are huge fans of the novel and I can tell by how much care they put into the details of the characters, even supporting characters have so much depth. I’m hoping for a happy ending!

I'm surprised that Esther looks so different from the last drama I watched two years ago. Still a beauty but I was very shocked the first hour of the drama trying to get use to it. Maybe it's the BP make up idk her teeth looks different as well

So Ji sib needs to make more romcoms, "I'm sorry, I love you" and this one are so good and he's so charismatic. You can't help but focus on him

I'm re-watching the show. It's very fun to watch, but I'm so annoyed by the ML grandpa! I don't like how he treats Ha-Ri at all, he's very nosy

yes, I can see you have time. My comment was not directed to regular kdrama fans but those who are trash talking the show by insulting the female lead looks, insulting the male lead by calling him all sort of names, talking poorly about the writer, and comparing the show to literal “piles of shit” as I’ve seen many people doing in the reviews section. Anyone is welcome to dislike it but the language is very unprofessional, this is not regular kdrama fans at all. the kdrama fans I know respect the work of production companies and don’t insult the cast as I’ve read many people doing. There has been multiple fanwars on social media also, and those who take their time to be so mean are taking it too far. I’m taking my time to explain it once but whoever decides to draw their own conclusions would keep thinking what they want.

It's dump because it's two different audiences lol mind you I was happy to comeback here and relive some memories of the live streaming experience while the show was running but they ruined my mood. They even act with so much superiority all for a drama, it's so embarrassing.

I genuinely feel this is one of the few dramas where the haters of this show are as immersed as the fans on proactively not only disliking but trash talking the show, the cast and the production team behind it. I've never in my life been so dedicated on hating something as some people I see here in the reviews section. Not only they write long lengths 2000+ reviews but also comment under every single post? Hello? Is this a new kind of sub fandom called anti-lovrun? This kdrama It's only a youth romcon with time travel, if you're not into it why put so much energy into this. I'm not saying it's perfect but nobody here gets paid for this dedication, really. If you're objective that's fine but also coming for the main actors in such a manner it's disrespectful.
