It has some great moments, acting is superb and the characters have a great on screen chemistry with one another. But the writing? I dont know....this becomes so weird. The male lead, while being fun and definitely having great potential in the beginning, becomes bratty and just utterly horrible. And stays that way till the end.... 6/10
I have more and more questions. So this traveling through time opens up a butterfly effect and the person who travels does not feel the changes? Otherwise SaeHa would have gotten at least a scar the moment little him was hit with this travel gadget thing. Or he would have gotten memories. Or anything really. So there are multiple dimension from which they travel back to but only one copy exists of the person that travels? I am absolutely confused how this whole time traveling thing works XD Honestly hope they will explain this in the next 2 episodes.
with 7 episodes already out.. is it worth picking up?
yes. Its ver intriguing. Some parts are confusing, especially episode 1 when you feel like you jumped right into episode 2, but apart from that its quite interesting. Give it a try ;)
I've been meaning to ask this for ages . . . is the amount of workplace screaming/shouting and physical abuse…
Screaming yes, physical abuse no (normally) but mental abuse can occur. Work place is like school. there are groups and there are people who are outcasts.
If I remember, it was released along with other Cdramas that were popular back then due to the cast, so this one…
Hm normally that would not matter. The Light on Series is hugely successful and given some promotion it would have gained more attention. But there was hardly any promotion, plus it was the last Light on to be released and the previous ones were mostly not able to fulfill the expectations.
Bit difficult to answer. Some sources say yes and some say no. Kinda like Burning Ice, which arguable should be considered the first Light on Series produced since it kinda did kick it all off.
This was not my cup of tea. The story is the the typical story that does not shine with their uniqueness but with their cute and happy moments. However I missed those here dearly. The chemistry between the leads was building up in the beginning but somewhere along the ride they lost it and did not regain it. 6/10 for me
I absolutely loved Gold Panning. It is one of the best dramas I have had the honor seeing. Of course not everything is perfect but it is unusual, has a darn gripping story and absolute amazing characters that are different. It is something truly sticking out and doing so well deserved (and it saved the Light on Series 2021/22)
yesss no romance (thanks goodness) but lol dont automatically assume thats always the case just because of a 19…
alright then take a look at Secret Boutique ;) The age gap between the actors was 15/16 years. Female being the older one. Or Secret Love Affair where the actors were also having a 19 year age gap (also female being the older one) where a ton of romance scenes where.
I am truly enjoying dramas without romance but the age gap is really not a strong indicator for it to be completely ruled out ;)
The age gap between Rowoon and Kim Hee Sun 19 years old so NOOOOO romance
yesss no romance (thanks goodness)
but lol dont automatically assume thats always the case just because of a 19 year old age gap XD eg. take a look at the french president. his wife is 25 years older
I think it's just a mind thing once the device was in his arm he was good to go. He knew to go back to 1997 because…
lol so the theory is that future memories collided and thus he knows? I dunno.....honestly im not a fan of such a theory. At least the show runners should have taken an example from Netflix's "Dark" series where they explain why someone came to the knowledge instead of just throwing something in your face.
I think it's just a mind thing once the device was in his arm he was good to go. He knew to go back to 1997 because…
I dont mean how he knew which time to go but how he know what to do in order for the gadget to bring him back to 1997. He never ever had it before, did not read reports on it or anything else thus how come there is this sudden knowledge about how it works?
episode 7 is confusing how did SaeHa find out how to use time time-jump gadget? How did he know how to go back to 1997? How does he know where The Ghost went when he met her the first time in 1997? that episode was very fast and very confusing, good and interesting but just too many questions not answered at all
overall it was alright. The chemistry between the leads is truly not very much felt but the story is interesting and filled with lots of action scenes. In terms of a bad ass character this fulfills its role. Still its just missing something to make it truly stick out The ending was sad but honestly it was a fitting one. 8/10
