coz screenwriter. Signal was immensely successful but it was one of her first dramas. And she did say in an interview that it was an enormous responsibility to fulfil expectations. So she focused instead on Kingdom and then Jirisan. And kingdom was also extremely successful. So maybe that strengthened her belief in herself? Though Jirisan wasn't as crazily well received, especially by the Signal fandom. (Not surprising tbh, it is nearly the same sort just done in a different drama XD)
Binged this and enjoyed it so much. idk how I would've been able to watch this 10 years ago and wait for a sequel.…
probably coz they announced s2 right after s1 ended. And then they kept us hanging XD it was always => next year, next year, next year then the screenwriter said she'd do a historic one before going back to Signal. Which was kingdom. And then the fandom was sort of disappointed when she did Jirisan instead of going back to Signal. And thennnnnn it was already like 5 years later and we gave up all hope.
Did it end on a cliffhanger because of season 2 or it actually have a reasonable ending?
cliffhanger. Still you should definitely give it a try. There is a reason why it got redone by nearly all asian countries ;) It's just absolutely amazing
Idk, i thought about it that way also. or it acts as a saveguard. for when a ''''scandal'''' may land on her.…
yeah I was also wondering about the last part. I love IU and she is an amazing singer/actress but, people rarely do this without a bigger reason. Otherwise this would be the norm and not the exception. Did everyone that took part in the drama receive the gift card? Or was it only a selected few? Because a film team does cover around 100 people rather fast. Do all the camera crews, lightening, sound, editors, cutters, music team, make-up, logististics, writers, directors , etc. get that voucher? Coz then she basically did the drama for free or came out net negative. But maybe she really did make such a large surplus? I don't know......it gives a weird aftertaste
Is Eun Soo’s friend trying to steal her husband? Why is she always feeding him and visiting him? Am I missing…
maybe she had something to do with him investing in the crypto currency where they lost all their money. Her brother seems to be someone that would be involved in money fraud. So she might have been the one to lure the husband into investing into something her brother did and feels now guilty? Tries to make amends? Tries to get more money out of them? I dont know but she gives me such bad vibes.
its a Korean drama. Prison must not be the ending. Other, similar dramas didn't always end with a character going…
hahaha tbh in Chinese dramas they'd 100% get jailed. But korean dramas dont always have that scenario where you'd get punished for doing something wrong. I've watched the other dramas done by this screenwriter and they aren't following this scenario completely either. Eg. Lie Within (Which is very very similar)

same and it is pancreas cancer. Either way he will die. If they would have given him a chance at survival they'd have picked a different type of cancer.

yeah but see what gives me red flags is the story of the husband investing all in crypto. I don't buy it fully. I do think there is an additional motive for him to have spend so much money.
Fans of this drama, fans of Kim Woo Bin and Suzy are now dragging down Goblin drama, which has nothing to do with,…
I do like the drama but I also love Goblin ever since 2016 when it first aired. And I do love Kim woo bin and Suzy both equally and I did love Uncontrollably Fond. So I would say, not all :) Don't worry. Goblin has had a special place in my heart for the past 10 years. That won't change just because one drama gathered more or less attention since then.
i love how their bond is growing 😭dramas with nom romance genre always gives the best vibes between leads 😭
especially with such stellar acting! And they truly do have a great chemistry. Romantic or not romantic, doesn't truly matter. When 2 characters just work so well together ? Ohhhhhh its the absolute best!
their fate is only jail according to their doings but still hoping for some happy ending 😂 but may be they…
its a Korean drama. Prison must not be the ending. Other, similar dramas didn't always end with a character going to prison and being punished for their deeds. Some do live happily ever after in a far away country. So my guess is that something similar will happen to the FL and her daughter. The husband and the best friend give me bad vibes. There is surely gonna be a twist, that reveal their shady side. I'm not so sure about the faith of the ML. He does gives me sort of tragic ending vibes.
I'm enjoying it immensely.

reminded me a lot of Signal.

And I genuinely love that the cast is olderish.

Coz that one is who I suspect

For a thriller/crime/serious drama fan like moi, this is honestly one of the best dramas of this year so far.
So I would say, not all :) Don't worry.
