You’re too nice to think they are naive men. I disagree in regards to QL being that he’s had several one on one talk with the psycho Gao and he still hasn’t done anything to protect JBN. For example, QL figured out that the that he was being persuade by that stupid female to make her his concubine and escaped from being forced to marry her! It’s good that JBL is smart and resourceful on her own being that she’s left alone when he’s out working. At this point I’m wondering how is her life in QL’s home different from managing a harem if she was living in the palace🤔. Just venting… I’m upset that that psycho Gao is getting too much screen time is is getting away with harming JBN😬

You are correct in saying that Gao is psychotic! I don’t like that she’s getting so much screen time with all her evil scenes… I dislike the fact that QL and his father are not protecting JBL from Gao knowing that she has made her feelings known to QL and his father… now it was said that Gao will leave the Li’s home and go work for the evil ugly empress at the palace!

In ep 24 there is a scene of a homelessness woman that appears to have witnessed the Li clan fire disertar… we might find out soon who caused the fire🤔🔥

I’m hoping that the stepmother is just dumb as you said but have a feeling that she’s not only greedy but could possibly be involve in LQ’s mom demise🤔

How sad that in the older Yu Fei’s parallel world she and Bai Fei Li didn’t get a chance to be together. From the looks of it, Shuji did luck out in that world!

I’m confused… are you saying that there were more scenes of the older Yu Fei parallel world other than when she arrives at the airport and is driven to the hospital and is greeted by the young doctor and as she’s walking she notices the older man painting who signs the painting’Bai Fei Li’… and goes to the exam room and while she is laying down she start to tell the young doctor about her dream and she asks what’s the meaning of her dream etc.

Agree that the old Yu Fei parallel world was unnecessary… would had liked better to have seen scenes of the main couple getting married etc. Overall, this drama was surprisingly enjoyable… the play scenes in the last episode were beautifully done.

I rewarded episode 30 couple more times and I think you’re correct on the two parallel worlds… one with the young Yu Fei and the other with the older Yu Fei. I hope others will see our comments and reply on their view point and hopefully confirm and explain why the older Yu Fei parallel world was added at the end! In my opinion, it added confusion and raised numerous other questions. I particularly have questions about the young Yu Fei’s parallel world… why wasn’t Yu Fei’s father in her life? Appears he got married to Ba Fei’s aunt but they didn’t live together when she found out he had a daughter… looks like Yu Fei had an engagement ring that was shown vaguely in the last episode… but not sure… there was a 2 year jump in the last episode which appears Yu Fei coming back fir a two month break… is that the type of relationship the main couple ended up with… no marriage or children!

Yep, liked the chemistry of the main couple. What was your take on the ending of the main couple? Did they end up getting married? Was confusing the time jump at the end where Yu Fei arrived at the airport and she runs to Bai Fei Li. Didn’t get ending scenes with Yu Fei is much older in the airport coming back from who knows where and goes to the hospital for a checkup and tells the young doctor about her dream… as if she was never with Bai Fei Li!

Episode 30 was beautiful but confusing! Couldn’t figure out if the main couple ended up getting married or they just stayed together. The scene where Yu Fei goes to the hospital for a checkup and was telling the young doctor about her dream was as if she never met Bai Fei Li. Would totally appreciate if anyone share their view point on what happened with the main couple at the end.

I totally agree with your feelings regarding Lui Zi Xing. I also agree that Shiyi felt extra guilt for the reasons you said but also that ZSC stayed close by her to protect her, which was another reason for his demise.

What’s more upsetting for me is that in FAE, ZSC is still remembered as a traitor because of the evil Lui Zi Xing!

I didn’t know ZSC second uncle is ZSCR biological father! In reality ZSC doesn’t have siblings but cousins. Thanks for clarifying this confusing family drama ☺️

Agree. The sorry that I felt for him by no means excuses all the evil that he did to ZSC and Shiyi. He definitely deserves the ending he got for sure.

I would had enjoyed if ZSC had kept Shiyi by his side and prevented Lui Zi Xing from taken the throne etc! I’m still very much sad about the main leads ending. I watched episode 24 5 times trying to understand the English subtitles and in a way hoping for a different ending for ZSC and Shiyi 🥲
