Agree! I still haven’t figured out nor understand the English subtitles in the last scenes after Jin Rong died, why it refers to the Emperor’s name as Donling instead of Zixing! And what does the following translation mean: “Empress Donling overtook Honored Concubine Cui as the empress after her death “? Do you know what this means?

i feel the same regarding ZSC death in OAO… it just didn’t make any sense why the crown prince had to kill him the way he did and why ZSC let it happen! I too was very traumatized by those scenes that I chose to focused on Shiyi’s decision to follow him in death.

Thanks for clearing up some of my confusion regarding the family drama.

I personally think that the ending was rushed and would had been better if there were scenes of the actual marriage ceremony to be able to appreciate and offsetting the previous proposal and marriage cancellations. I felt happy but unsatisfied with the lack off marriage ceremony scenes.

I personally liked the ending scenes in OAO… there was no misunderstanding nor confusion as to Shiyi’s decision to jump to her demise, which left everyone that knew and loved her sad, including all of us that watched OAO🥲

In comparison to the happy ending in FAE, which left me feeling happy but ver confused 🤔 and unsatisfied 🙃

Just finished watching this drama, which left me happy but very confused ^～^ Can someone explain what was the whole family drama?

1. From what I was able to figure out is that Zhousheng Chen’s father did not marry Chen’s mother but the reason was not clear!

2. The twins, Zhou Wen Chuan and Zhou Wen Xing’s father is Chen’s uncle Zhousheng Xing. Why was their mother married to Chen’s father and not their biological father?

3. Who is Zhousheng Ren biological mother and father?

4. Couldn’t figure out why Shiyi was already 3 months pregnant at her marriage ceremony! What was the timeline of Shiyi’s marriage ceremony at the end from the time she jumped to save Chen from getting stabbed from Zhou Wen Chuan?

Does anyone know who was the girl that took Yunxi’s bangle from Quishao and did she cure Qinshao’s poisoning gu?

Thank you ^_^. Wonder which scene is first… the one at the in the children’s department store or the one in the hotel corridor! Regardless, it gives me a bit of hope that the ML might be part of their child’s birth even though he doesn’t deserve it.

Where did you see those trailers? I’ve only found the one where the FL is walking in a hotel corridor and The ML sees her while he was talking on the phone.

I’m not planning to watch until all the episodes are released being that I do not want to see years go by until they get together with their child.

What episode is the FL pregnant?

It’s been fun sharing with you my thoughts/review and getting yours of this almost good drama.

This drama had a lot of potential to be memorable but failed due to the storyline of the main leads! I felt sadness mostly for Li Dong and a lot of anger towards the ML and the FL.

We’re definitely in complete agreement ^_^. What about when the naive FL was told by the ML that they were not blood related… it took what 5 seconds for her to forgive him and still went to rescue the ML’s sinister sister from her evil childhood ex-boyfriend…. Way to much to see ^~^

I did the same but was able to see enough to make me angry at the FL for being so naive… including trusting her so call BFF and at the end forgiving her… to much to take!
