In my opinion with every misunderstanding caused mainly by the FL due to immaturity and lack of trust because they do not know each other yet... with each misunderstanding it seems that the ML and FL are getting to know each other and themselves! However, I personally dislike all these ongoing misunderstandings!

It would be GREAT if we would be able to see a redo ending that would include seeing their children and more of their grandchildren.

Just finished watching this drama for the second time! Truly enjoyed the Fl, ML and all the supporting cast. Great acting by all the cast... they all fit in perfectly. The ending was cute and enjoyed knowing that the FL and ML had the happy blissful time together that they wanted... but would had been more enjoyable knowing the gender of their first child, if they had more children, and what happened to the two concubines etc.! After 60 episodes, I feel the ending was to rushed. I truly enjoyed the chemistry of the FL and ML. They never said I like or love you to each other but their.body language showed it in more ways than words can ever say. I could not understand why the FL was not jealous that the ML already had three concubines and all the flirtatious he had even with his mother’s maid... but I think the FL let him be and do what he wanted because of the guilt she had of causing him fall in the water that caused him fourteen years to be bedridden! I would had liked knowing if that was the reason that she endured all the rejection from the ML and his mother! Oh well, all in all I enjoyed watching this drama twice ^_^

Wouldn’t it had been worth the wait in ep 45 if Lingyi had giving Shiyi another kiss like in ep 35 in addition to holding her hand?

Oops... meant to say that I know what you mean about the mustaches and what about the last scene of Lingyi and Shiyi holding hands in ep 45!

No what you mean! What about the last seen, no mustache and they only hold hands! Felt cheated after ep 35-36. As if Lingyi all of the sudden got what he wanted from Shiyi and stopped the kissing and started holding her hand instead!

There were only three kisses in the entire 45 episodes... one in ep 27 and two in ep 35! Would’ve been nice to see another kiss in episode 45 instead of the holding hands!

I was happy that Lingyi and Shiyi ended up together with no more concubines at the end. With that said, I felt sorry for all Lingyi’s concubines and his first wife though! Each one were sad and lonely because of Lingyi’s absence and not being able to care for them. Of course this was all his mom and first wife’s fault for forcing them on him.

I totally agree with you about those mustaches! I would had also like Lingyi and Shiyi be more loving, such another kiss like ep 35 and more kids! Didn’t Shiyi get the fertility and luck jay pendant from her sister Yuanniang? That would had made Madam Xu very happy!

I did not care for the 6 years jump, I would had expected that they would had have 2 or 3 kids and they only had one daughter during those years! Yu and Zhun were not in the family dinner and nothing was said about them. I also did not care for Madam Xu to give a thank you toast after those many years.

At the beginning of the drama, I personally thought the same as you about Seven Tan. However she grew on me after episode 35. Thought she complimented the ML in spite of their age difference and had good chemistry together.
