The FL Shiyi in this drama and Minlang are very much alike. They both are daughters of concubine, intelligent, witty, and quick thinking from beginning to the ending. They both have their family struggles but end up happy with their husbands.

Would appreciate a summary of the following scenes in ep 45:
1. Conversation between Lingyi and Shiyi when she wakes up from not being killed.
2. Conversation between Shiyi and Ou Yanxing when she goes to see him in jail.
3. Conversation between Ou Yanxing and his father when they both are in jail.
4. Conversation between Lingyi and Concubine Wen when he takes Yu to visit her.
5. Conversation between Shiyi and Concubine Wen when she goes to see Shiyi.
6. Conversation between Lingyi and Shiyi when she’s playing the zither.

I saw a scene where she is in jail and was torture cause she was bloody and Shiyi was in jail too and it seemed that Shiyi was trying to give her sister some type of clue and Shiyi didn’t want her sister to talk in from of her teacher. Being that I don’t know what they are saying... thought that perhaps she had betrayed Shiyi.

But why take it out on the whole Xu family when it was Madam Xu that made her Hou Yeh’s wife and caused her the miscarriage and being barren!

Not surprised Hu Po being forgiving by Shiyi! Who is Shiyi’s shifu?

I agree that Lingyi lost interest in her at that scene because she had nothing to say about that painting. Wonder if he would had spent the night with Qin if she had been able to answer his question to his satisfaction! After all, Qin was his first concubine before he married his first main wife! It must have been very difficult for Qin to keep her composure of kindness for over those many years of the miscarriage , being barren, and not being favored by Lingyi!

Thanks for the spoiler on Qin. It seems that she was the first concubine , so she was Lingyi bed mate before he married. I can understand why she would be mad at Lingyi. How and when did Qin decide to take revenge on the family by being the spy for the Ou family?

Would appreciate a spoiler on what Concbine Qin said to Lingyi when she was dying in his arms.

Thanks for the spoiler on Hu Po! I recall a scene that Lingyi said to Shiyi that she could be Fengqing’s mom but not in name. He said to use Concubine Tong who had been dead a long time. When Shiyi asked Zhun’s care taker, she said that she seduced Lingyi when he was drunk. So was Concubine Tong Hu Po’s long lost sister? Why would Concubine Qin be upset with Lingyi when it was Yuanniang’s doing?

Please provide spoilers on Hu Po. I watched raw episodes on her but have no idea what she did or said!

They do seem to be in the same wave length! They even like the same seasoning in their food as the scene in ep 16. In that scene he went to visit her out of concern that she got injured but definitely surprised to see Shiyi with her. He didn’t even ask why she was there. This scene gave the impression that they had a good husband and wife relationship even though she could not get pregnant again! I watched raw episodes 37-44 and concubine Qin is foun out that she was the spy. There is a scene when she gets poisoned by Ou Lixing’s father. It would be great to know what she said to Lingyi while she was in his arms dying!

Thanks for the info on concubine Qin. I also recall seeing the scene about her being a maid but do not recall te episode either! I can not see how or why Lingyi was ok with her and got her pregnant to top it all being that he is particularly who he gives a baby to!!

I share the same feelings. I can’t help to feel bad for Shiyi... not only did she had to care for her sister’s son as if it was hers but had to put up with her husband’s 3 concubines and her over barring mother in law! I hope we get to see love scenes in the last episode of Lingyi and Shiyi having their own children!
