The whole reason for Kang Jae being terrible to his family is because he was dumped by his gf for being a "son of a poor tofu shop owner" and thus he wants the easy way up to the riches to somewhat show the ex gf that he is all awesome and stuff. Wow, next they will make the ex gf some angel who only pushed him away cos she was sick and didnt want him to suffer.

So far I don't see any back and forth, Seo wool and Dal Bong love each other, anger and misunderstandings in relationships of youngsters is putting them in an awkward friend situation for a while, most likely until Dal Bong becomes a chef and wins some cliched competition and gains confidence.
Yun Ho on the other hand being fed up of his upper class pretend life and friends seems to need a true friend and is why he is trying to cling on to Seo Wool. But is doing the same to Dal Bong what he did when they were friends making his life even worse.
They need to put another person in for Eun Ho or he will be the usual miserable 2nd male lead in the typical KDramas who does every favor to the main female lead until main male lead gets back up and is throw aside/friend zoned/brothered.
Starts out with the crazy "body part memory" element but pursues normal family/romance drama features in a splendid way. Nothing new in the story but fantastic in the presentation/execution.

I didnt expect the marriage to take place so fast, maybe they pushed it to bring in the "son scenario" and buff up the ratings
