Personally ( as someone who likes happy endings ) i would prefer an open end like in scent of a woman where we don't know how long she will live but they went with giving hope to someone else in same situation like Bom Yi and spring days to another person like Dong Ha.

Open ending, she will die but we don't know how long she will live but she they will live together. Its bittersweet

I feel its kind of good that they are sticking to the K-drama strength ( focus on relations ) instead of complete imitation. Those who prefer variety or specifics will have choices on what to watch.

Draggy in the middle but overall plot is good

The whole thing was episodic except for the very last few minutes where they put in the mystery main plot

Writing has to go around in circles till the end as any complete redemption of characters will make it very hard to fill the rest of the episodes
