I feel this comments section is going to fill up with Duckypie06's affirmation of his support to Justin (and some occasional bickering comments if he finds anyone disagreeing π )
Whether we like GMMTV's actions or not, it's not going to change the fact that he did something nasty in the past, got caught and dragged online, sent an apology (though I know some people are not convinced), and eventually got axed by the company. We can hate GMMTV all day, all week, but let's face itβthey'll survive even after all of this and everyone's going to move on to new actors/actresses and their upcoming series.
So let's just focus on the talents that are still there, that are still working (and working hard). Gonna be the last time I'm here. Peace out! βοΈ
I have a genuine question to those who are disturbed with GMMTV's action to terminate his contract:
If GMMTV's sponsors, partners, and fans backed out because they chose to keep the actor even when the public outcry was negativeβare you willing to shoulder the losses or maybe are you going to be ok with some of them not getting paid or the series getting axed because the sponsors pulled out?
I get that it looks like GMMTV decided quickly on this but I'd bet some of their sponsors saw the issue and threatened to pull out because they can't be associated with it. At the end of the day GMMTV has to decide what's best for the company, it just so happened this time at the expense of one actor's career being cut short.
I really do wish Gmmtv gave him aa second chance to redeem himself π
If he really is apologetic and really wants to own up to what he's done, I personally think stepping away from the watchful eyes of the public is better for him. At least then he can actually focus on getting better.
He's not blacklisted anyways so if he decides to come back, be in GMMTV or another company I'm pretty sure he can.
AND I still lean on a previous comment I made about the GL being an afterthought because look at that ending hahahaha.…
i feel bad for the 2 actresses though, I'd say it's misogynistic to not know whatever happened to Ye Eun. Like did she finally debut even after under another agency? She could've had a good storyline for real.
We all had a happy ending for everyone well except for the CEO of course π I'd say it's a nice story leaning…

I'd say it's a nice story leaning into fluff and sweet moments with a bit of harsh idol and entertainment reality but overall a cute one. Acting's a bit on the "we're getting there" but it's not the end of the world, I actually find it refreshing seeing new faces with that level of acting because you know they'll go up from here (that's if they are really into it, of course).
Now you know that story's all fictional because we all know if there had been one or two more episodes, that CEO would've resurrected just as quick knowing how the entertainment industry is wired like that (iykyk).
Anyways, not the most ground-breaking series but definitely something worth watching.
it's funny how people defend anything by playing the 'he's too young, he doesn't realize it's wrong' card
even if he is, defending him only coddles his stances. If he doesn't get schooled as early as now, who knows what more his ideologies can turn into in the future
