I hope this kid gets help and move away from all of that indoctrination—not because he's an actor but because he's just a growing teenager much like anyone else. I am more disturbed by the number of people defending his actions like we get violent kids all around the world and they started with the same pattern like this. It's not just a simple like and repost, that's a small spark and I hope we're not going to see the flames it will cause some day in the future to which in that point it's already too late.
Given that, I don't think outright cancelling the kid is the right thing to do either. You're just spewing hate to someone who's already listening to hate. But sadly in the entertainment industry, they can only keep talents like him so far until they drop him (or you know, we got some exceptions iykyk).
Could've had a bright acting future but it's time to school the kid first.
i would assume this revolved around Bai Che asking her to get to safety, that must've triggered her maybe Lao Bai asked her to do this when he was still alive in case the worst could happen.
Killing all of them would prevent the shares of Lao Bai to be held by Ling Ye alone so there won't be monopoly(?) and then no one else would know since there will be no witnesses.
Another good theory is it might be what Zhou Chen was talking about earlier to Bai Che that they will all be fine.
Now I know we can never trust that librarian, I know something was up with her knowing her dead boss was involved in a large scale crime like that.
Also, I understand the whole point was to kill them all so there will be no one else to benefit from the port, I loved that hesitation she had when it's supposed to be Bai Che's turn, goes to show she's still human behind all of that. Now with that "to be continued" bit, if this is a S2 or a spin-off or a shared multiverse, I want to see the confrontation of this if it gets revealed. 😆
And speaking of, that "to be continued" HAS to be a good news.
I wasn't expecting much from the series BUT only because I've seen several time travel stories from Thai BL recently so I'm sure it's going to have the same aesthetics (of course, they'll mostly have the same shooting locations) but for what it's worth I liked it.
I think the most that I was looking forward to in this is Leng's acting and I can definitely see improvement. I always love it when new actors get a chance to prove themselves if they're just given another chance. I still think he has those weird faces he makes but not as much now. But definitely miles ahead already from where he started.
And of course, we're all looking forward to August and Leng's chemistry, it's too early to say it as well since you know Leng's character was an a*hole to start with. 😅
I think this series has potential, I'll be definitely watching it. I'm also curious how he's going back to the future. I guess we just have to finish to find it out.

Alright, we're now heading to the juicy part of this series. Like I know these 2 are going to suffer from the consequences but I'm both scared and excited how far things can go. I feel like we're getting the "hell hath no fury than a woman scorned" moment from Danyi and that's what excites me! 😭
Not bad for a first episode. I remember watching the guy acting as Jaewon in Crosslink (and Connect) and commended how his acting improved from the first series so I'm really hopeful we're at the same level here. The other one as well is the guy from Twins, right?

I would also reinforce my perception of Luqing—that guy is a watermelon. No matter how good he thinks what he's doing for Xiaofan, at the end of the day making him feel like all he's ever good for is a tasty hot soup and a partner in bed is NOT what a green flag would do. 😅
As much as I do not want a pushover main character I feel like I understand why Xiaofan is acting the way he does in the series so far. For him, his purpose is being helpful to Luqing in any way possible and the moment that is threatened, he felt lost in a place where he's unfamiliar. I just wish we get to see in near future episodes the dynamic change that he stops being dependent of Luqing and finally standing up for himself.
Also, thank you to whoever decided to give Ziyang more screentime because that man and all his wisdom is what this show needs. 🤣

i agree, like even if we're not getting that much screentime for romance I am not complaining because the story makes me want to watch every episode AND i also agree with the length especially the ending credits. I feel like the time spent there could've been additional time for the story (but I guess they're already stretching out the footage they've got?)
Maybe it's just me but getting only around ~14mins with 8 episodes of a storyline like this is NOT ENOUGH 😅…

For some reason even though we're not getting much on-screen romance from the main leads (as much as the 2nd cp does haha) I am not complaining. I feel like this is one of those hidden gems where they're actually focused on the storytelling.
But I will never forgive is how long that ending credits are, I feel like if they sped that up, the excess time would've been additional time for the story. I WANT MORE TIME FOR THE EPISODE ITSELF 🤣🤣🤣
