Reminder that they also fired 1000 of their employees recently because they replaced them with AI, including, firing a man in an office with the very MARVEL poster he had made right there
I'm on episode 18 and just saw the scene with the flower, my blood pressure can't take this someone tell me if we get vindication for this later and how many episodes away it is!!! AAAAGH
I wish I could watch it for the first time againπ
I live vicariously through my friends by watching it with them while I show them for the first time ahahaha!! I must have seen the show like 5 times now
The fact that the director give us 2ml and fl more screentime together make me furious ππ..
Well, we just will never know what additional context we could be missing... unfortunately we get what we got, and I do have mixed feelings about the FLs personality
she decides whoβs deserving of her. not the men π; both of them have good and bad qualities & both of…
obviously she decides in character who is deserving of her, but every show like this has a narrative text to be interpreted, inside of which the entire point of the second ml is to showcase why the ml is uniquely qualified to be a match for the fl and not just any nice guy/any other guy/etc. and that's the level of analysis OP is speaking on.
I wouldn't call this drama a romance. There is some, but it's more like revenge, plots twist and some mysteries.…
Hard agree, honestly to the point that I lowkey felt like the romantic feelings in The Glory had very little foundation for me to believe it LMAO I don't understand people's standards for what a romance drama is. Every story worth its salt is going to be about something even if it doesn't directly tie to the romance. Almost any 'romance' I've watched has been about something bigger that the romance happens to tie into, and they just manage to balance the romance well with it. But then again, a lot of people think MXY and YL have no chemistry and no romantic vibes between them and I have no idea what they're talking about
I was just quickly going through the episodes.I think ye li's feelings for mjl are a bit complicated. He was a…
Yes, if she blamed him for being unable to overlook it she would be a bit of a hypocrite. Although, for his side, it was not even about that but more so the fact that nothing she seemed to do for him was out of any other feeling than pity and guilt, so he couldn't have faith in her feelings for him or their relationship anymore. After all that, he felt he was her burden rather than her husband. Which is also why Ye Li won't blame him, but can still feel incredibly heartbroken and even a bit betrayed
I think many people are misunderstanding the divorce, whether you like the divorce or not, its not due to fl's…
I completely agree. I'm only past ep 28 but I know this is coming and even beforehand I could tell the show has definitely been setting up for this with those reasons. I think it's an important step they have to take for thelongevity of their relationship. If this part never happened, he could be wondering for the rest of his life how much of everything she did was duty vs. love, and regardless the show made it absolutely clear that her driving force for all of her actions and commitments was duty first. She loves him, but she is someone who will do what must be done for the sake of duty, even if it means being hated or making huge sacrifices. But when it also involves a marriage, you can't handle your relationship like that. Imo they've never truly been on the same page because of the secrets they kept (esp her), but it's also not really something you can just talk out and put behind you. Additionally, for someone as young as her falling in love with him because he saved her and everything else that happened between their families, it's completely reasonable on his end to reconsider whether or not she has been mistaking other emotions for love, or even just that her love is not as strong or as deep as those other emotions and it's those other emotions that really kept her with him. Who would want a relationship with such a foundation?
I knew her excuse for the hatred would be ridiculous but "he didn't come to save me despite his brother being…
The worst part is there really are people that spiteful who will turn their grief in that direction. Actually worse is knowing there are people who have done worse for way less
same I really thought they were setting him up to be a genuine love interest for the sister as they had great…
I'm still holding out for something like that, since Prince Ling is only gone temporarily it's likely that once he's back the focus will shift back to the characters related to him

Anyway I'll know for sure once I get to that part
