DESERVED HYPE
Great plot, great visuals, i LOVED the OSTšš especially āRising Stormā the one they played during battles mainly.Even though this drama has been very very hyped, i had been waiting for it since last year and it went way over my expectations. Director Zeng was born to bring greatness to this world through his lensš This is my first review ever on this app and i wrote it especially for ZhuYu so trust me and go binge!!!š„¹

MUST WATCH
new comfort drama, i love he yu and i love how the portrayed huayong, he was a breath of fresh air in the middle of all other male leads. Xihe was also such a strong character, which is rare to see in a drama as in they always have some type of weakness. I LOVE THEM BOTH I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW THAT I FINISHED THISššš Itās such a fun watch, no boring episodes (except for the last few that i watched in 2x lol) all the side characters are well thought, i love them all.Was this review helpful to you?
First drama thatās better in the last 20 episodes than the first 20
i just finished this so i wanna give my insight. First 10-15 episodes were kinda enjoyable because we were still getting into the story, but from those episodes till episode 20 or something OMG HOW MUCH I HATED FLššš of course she thinks sheās in a storybook and she doesnāt treat the characters like real people and of course she wanna save herself, but ALL HER CHOICES MADE ME SO MADššš some scenes were so corny it took me so long to get through themš, around the 20ish mark she has less screen time so the plot is more enjoyable with the rest of the characters (omg flās sister was also ANNOYING as hell mannn, why did she wanna force someone that didnāt love her into marriage by drugging them?š). Well after the reveal is done Fl starts behaving like a normal human being thankfully so the story becomes enjoyable!! One think that took me out was how the Emperor switched up on Nan Heng when it was revealed that he was not the mastermind behind the Empressā death LIKE DUH HOW CAN A 9 YO PLAN AN ASSASSINATION????? and then him being like āwhy didnāt u tell me?ā as if he didnāt have ML whipped for schemes almost a 100 times just a few weeks priorššš Even tho he did a 180Ā° i didnāt mind his character AFTERWARDS.General Chu was giving uncanny valley sometimes at the end, but tbh as a human being he was wronged in the OG OG storyline, then in the current one since ML is NOT a bad guy, Chu was just crazy. He gets top 3 most annoying character with both the princesses from Fated Hearts and The Double!
It was a nice watch at the end of the day!! i recommend
