You know what's ironic? This witch, Wanning, could have probably had an amicable marriable with Jeepers Creepers…
Makes me wonder if the princess and Duke Li will end up liking each other then Yu Rong regrets AGAIN and tries to get back with her out of jealousy lmao. So in character with his despicable personality. Would be the best thing ever lol
they transformed this part. in the novel she killed the doctor yes but she is not infertile. she take birth control…
That's why I usually try to read novels before watching a drama, because it gives us the bigger picture and doesn't twist my perception of the story line and character development. Sadly I bing watched it in 3 days before hearing about the novel. Might read it next
I think that they are looking at eachother because they know princess believed it, not because physician dying.…
well I hope that was the case. I like Jiang Li and Duke Su and don't want character flaws or bad scripting to ruin my admiration for them esp when only 5 eps are left.
She's not playing a petty trick. She's fighting for their lives. If the princess doesn't unravel the whole empire…
I see the idea but no, its the first time in the drama she does something like accuse/frame someone, don't even need to mention the imperial director. Not saying she never plotted/planned/lied for her revenge, but accusation and framing is a different thing. So yes, at least in MY pov its a character flaw

I feel like Jiang Li's personality is like a teaching from the book "The 48 Laws of Power," I was more impressed by her manipulation tactics than anything. But for someone who didn't read the novel, for the screenwriters to remove this "cold play" for the entirety of the drama then suddenly throw it at the watcher, will surely come of as "character flaw." If I had read the novel first then I wouldn't have a problem with her being cold and calculating.
She was even more ruthless in the novel. They have literally toned down both duke su and xue li by a lot from…
Hahaha I'm laughing so hard. I'm still being respectful and you're busy projecting that you are "weirdly touchy & oversensitive, inelegant & cringe, insecure" (quoted your own words, please see a therapist instead of venting to me for free)

"I merely said I didn't understand why you were looking for something that was never meant to be the case as per the novel. "
Really? How do you suppose I shouldn't expect something that already happened in the novel? Just bc you read it, doesn't mean everyone else did. I'm judging it based on the drama, the novel has nothing to do with me.
"Stop being weirdly touchy & oversensitive like this for no reason. It's inelegant & cringe"
This is a revenge story. It’s impossible to get revenge on someone, especially someone as powerful as princess…
You start by saying "let's agree to disagree" then contradict yourself by questioning my observations, didn't bother to finish reading. Not a fan of gaslighting.
And ofc take your time, hope you like it!

Someone is projecting.
