Title Lighter & Princess Spoiler
it's a good drama even though it follows the same pattern as most cdramas "date, breakup, date again" and a slap on the wrist to the bad guy. I liked the buildup of romance between the main couple.

I sympathized with Gao initially, because I understood where he came from. But the guy went too far tipping FZ about LX's sister intentionally leading FZ in that direction. He never even stopped LX from taking revenge on FZ. Instead he instigated it.

Tbh, I never felt the friendship between the three of them. Gao seemed to already hate LX since the whole Blue Crown App situation, but he didn't do anything out of hatred then.

LX did apologize but not to FZ directly and that's selfish of Gao to expect him to lower his head further for him. ZY never explained why she hated FZ to Gao & why they couldn't lower their heads to him. Unless I missed it, I don't recall ZY telling LX about her friend. I'm assuming he found out from Ren Di cause he suddenly just told her "when are you gonna tell me about xiaoyan?"

Title Lighter & Princess Spoiler
To be honest, I struggled a lot to watch this because Li Xun in the first half is really, really unlikeable. I…
I haven't caught up to the latest episode (Im still in like ep 17) but I somewhat agree. But from what I see both Zhu Yun & Li Xun are problematic. I can understand Gao, but no matter what he should not have crossed the line. (I'm assuming he does because of the beginning that he betrays them)

LX is cold and doesn't create a better environment. He doesn't speak his mind and never told Gao or made Gao feel he was trusted. Gao was hurt when LX didn't discuss things with him and made decisions on his own (example- handing the app to Zhang) I agreed with Gao. Even though ZY was in trouble, LX should've consulted Gao for it. ZY would've gotten out of it regardless cause of her parents. When Gao finally left the base group, he told ZY he just wants to do his own thing and be recognized for it. I completely understand, because right now everything is done by LX and it's like he's a shadow (LX always tells Gao they can succeed by following him is kinda condescending). It's hard to come to terms of accepting someone is better than you which is why he got frustrated.
Now my problem with ZY starts when Fang Zhijing is in the story. I understand your best friend died, but she was being immature. She basically wanted revenge. Tried to force LX to join then joins Gao when he did most of the project. Gao's project had flaws, but he wouldn't mind presenting something he did. She drags LX to join and he feels irritated.. LX was right with his criticism, but ZY & LX should've respected his decision of wanting to do something by himself (mainly ZY cause she knows why Gao left). But ZY was selfish, fixated on winning to beat FZJ and kept making Gao feel inferior by saying they need LX to win.

I loved this. Watching this made me really frustrated and some of these cases were like triggering to watch. How…
Judge Na finally changes and realizes her mistakes. But the previous case with the guy in coma, and three victims wasn't really given proper closure. It just irritates me and I guess they wanted to show not every case goes smoothly with proper justice given to it.
Like that victim who had inappropriate photos taken on a trip can still be exploited by those 3 people?? The guy who tried to help her can't even do that for her. She needs to learn how to fight on her own now.

Also, I agreed with Judge Kang about one thing. The judges job is not to investigate. It's reckless behavior. That last episode I was like why is she going there up by HERSELF. She could've died. She's not a trained cop and even cops die. The cops were late. She should've at least brought one cop with her in a taxi or something. Who goes to a suspect's hideout by themselves?? It's usually prosecutors and cops who investigate the crime scene.

How some of these kids committed such crimes and felt no remorse, I could see why our FL kept saying she detests young offenders. But I still feel some parts were rushed and not addressed properly.

Title Kingdom Season 2 Spoiler
Watching the Ashin of North after this season helps a lot in understanding the cliffhanger with her face in the…
1.) That scene where they tried to lure all the zombies to the frozen lake. That was kinda stupid imo? I thought they were smarter and it's just disappointing. They just throw fire arrows to help in making heat and melt the ice around them but they just STAND THERE and wait for the zombies to come. They got swords and axes they should've been hitting the ice right as they got there. As shown, ice doesn't break that fast. It would take time for the heat to help regardless. They start shooting bullets and cracking the ice as soon as they see zombies. Like the zombies wouldn't run when seeing cracked ice, they would run as soon as they see water. They would've had more time to crack the ice.
2.) The usual "let's stare at this person who sacrificed themself for the longest time"
Ahn Hyeon's guard & the Minister who held the door back and committed suicide to buy them enough time to escape. Realistically speaking, the amount of time they spent staring at those people, the zombies would've pushed through and they all would've been dead. They have one second to spare to be sentimental, and they should run. But it's like over a minute, and they just stand there grieving.
3.) The nurse/physician which I don't understand cause in subtitles they keep mixing it. I understand medical ethics and they don't discriminate when saving lives. She also needed to study the disease and Cho Hak Joo was the best test subject to find a cure. But what I don't understand is her lying. She told Lee Chang she didn't find a cure or any information about the disease. I still don't get why she didn't tell him, these worms hate higher temperatures and water and thrive in colder temperatures. That's why the zombies are active in daytime now too. She also didn't tell him how she treated him by submerging him in water. The guy only knew they didn't like water and used that as his plan to lure them in and saw for himself the worms floating out underwater.
4.) Moo Young's betrayal. I get that he did it for his wife. But how could he trust the Haewon cho clan completely. He knows how cunning they are. At least at his dying moments, he realized he was foolish. He could've told the Prince and they could've come up with a plan together. Besides, the Queen wouldn't let them kill the wife until she gets a baby boy from those pregnant ladies.
5.) Beom pal. Why is this guy alive? He isn't even funny. I feel like they're adding him to loosen the tension. He's like that lucky guy who lives cause everyone saves him. Not even survival of the fittest at that point. Just luck. He brings in absolutely nothing. He gets Moo Young killed and he's scared of everyone. Lee chang lets him join them. He even sees Seo bi saying the water got the worms out but doesn't even share that with Lee Chang either. Instead when he is out of the cold water in lake, he's like "how did we survive" WERE YOU NOT PAYING ATTENTION with your uncle.
6.) I never understood why Lee chang just didn't say that it's his bodyguard's son. I feel like he stepped down cause someone had to be out there to contain the plague. But at the same time, a young kid is a puppet. You do have some trustworthy people by his side, but that eunuch looked sus. Also, they have no one to monitor how the worm just traveled to the boy's head. Beom pal isn't trustworthy either, not the smartest councillor there.

I like how this season finally addressed the cause of the plague.
But there are like the same things like S1 that I just don't know why the characters do and it's frustrating.

I liked this overall, but what makes no sense is that people are watching the corpses come alive and they don't run. The zombies attack guards--- they don't run and keep watching. They run as soon as zombies chase after them????????? There are some questionable moments there.
They did tie a lot of politics into here which I didn't mind so much. But I wish they focused more on the plague/zombies origin.

I put this aside cause of the whole jisoo controversy. I never watched it with jisoo..so idc if they swapped actors…
my complaints so far are:
- it went to the typical route with SML it seems. "I got rejected and couldn't handle it so now I'm gonna be the bad guy." I'm tired of it, seen it too much. I already predicted it too with the first 8 episodes. General Go's character went from good to bad because of his jealousy and obsession over the Princess.
He told Princess he'd always choose her, instead of royal family or his dad, but once he got rejected he sided with his father in the end. Couldn't handle his father's death and wanted revenge, does he not still realize why he and her couldn't be a couple? Your father killed her mom and she got revenge. I'm glad the Princess said that to his face about them being ill-fated. What's worse is that he killed an old defenseless blind lady. It wasn't shown or mentioned but that's what I'm assuming cause her chest was covered in blood.

- The Princess keeps using On Dal. I can't even ship their romance or look forward to it, because it's just hard to watch when you know what she's really doing is using him. It happens in politics I know. She saw him suffering and let him still fight. At least, she realizes when he leaves her for 4 years. They tried to rebuild it by having the Princess change and was willing to be beheaded instead of asking Dal to fight.
- It almost feels like Gen. Go & princess are the same type of people. Gen go used Moo Young & Princess used On Dal. Although in his last moments General Go realized he did like Moo Young. His obsession over Princess blinded him.
- Won's sudden personality change. It did not make sense at all. They tried to make it logical, but it wasn't convincing enough.
- That ending. I'm all for happy endings & fake death technique would be convincing if he hadn't been shot with like 6 arrows? (3 in chest and 3 in back). His dad was alive with 3 arrows on his back with his armor so I would believe it if it was his back shot. But the guy was coughing up blood too and shot in the chest too. How are you gonna make it believable he can survive that. Are we supposed to think his armor was strong enough to not cause severe damage? Ah well, least it was a happy ending. I had mentally prepared myself since Ep 1 that he'd die. But at same time, I guess I'm glad he's alive even if it's unrealistic. They could've just shown him to be shot with 3 arrows and pretend to be dead.

I put this aside cause of the whole jisoo controversy. I never watched it with jisoo..so idc if they swapped actors cause I've seen it happen few times before. As long as they act well, it doesn't matter to me. NIW did a good job in taking over the role.
the problem with this drama is the story/writing. the acting is great from all the actors/actresses
but the writing is terrible.

Title If You Wish Upon Me Spoiler
I really loved this drama! It's not everyone's type of drama. For me healing/slice of life type of dramas usually…
I think the gangster part isn't unnecessary. It's YGR's past and he wasn't able to heal from his past, so of course they had to bring his birth father & his past history with gangsters into the drama.

The one thing I will say is that they did kinda drag out the gangster portion. I wish it would've been cut down some. His birth father was a terrible person and kept terrorizing the people in the hospital. It could've been cut down.

Also I never understood the people in the hospital. I'm not sure what korean policy is about restraints. But if you have a patient who has a violent nature and can attack staff, in the US you can place restraints on them. I get that they thought he was in a coma. But once they had a feeling and saw him awake they should've just cuffed him to bed so he won't walk around hurting others??
I understand they didn't take his phone away that had evidence cause they could then be added with a charge of hiding evidence.. but at least put some sort of restraints around him?
I know it wouldn't be possible to sedate him but there should be like restraints.

I never fully understood the story of money bag. It wasn't that important, but brought up several times. Joon Kyung streamed to get money (which was taken)and YGR got his college money stolen. So he stole 300k$ from them somehow?

The one thing I didn't like was how Mr. Kang is saying YGR's dad turned out that way cause he's lonely. Sorry but just cause you're lonely doesn't mean you should turn into a crap person and abusive father?

Never understood why in hospice hospital they only have Dr Yang, there's more nurses but just 1 doctor?? Just a technical thing I guess.

Those are the only issues I had with the drama. I saw some reviews saying the writing is bad and this isn't a good healing type of drama. I guess everyone's views are different.

I saw some people comment about JCW's character development. I can see why, but at same time I was fine with it.
He was never an evil character to begin with as Mr. Kang said, he was warm and kind-hearted as a kid.
It's just when you suffer so much as you grew up, it does leave scars and can change you.
For him, he didn't turn into a thug or a murderer. They should've shown him with trust issues (but I think it'd drag out the drama.) He kept getting blamed for things he never did.
He was inconsiderate of others and it changed in the hospice.
His impulsive behavior still stayed with him and in the end he really fully changes and you don't see that impulsive behavior anymore.

I really loved this drama! It's not everyone's type of drama. For me healing/slice of life type of dramas usually don't work for me and end up boring or very slow-paced. I can see why some people may be bored, but for me, I liked it especially Mr. Kang's character.
The first 3 episodes got me teary-eyed and the last one too. It's beautiful, the ending was wrapped up nicely, I don't see why people said the ending was bad. It was perfect ending.

Just very few parts that were draggy to me.

I liked it overall, just didn't like some of the distortion of the actual events? the plot twist isn't really…
What I don't get is what kind of hospital leaves suspects and victims vulnerable to even regular people
I get it choi young shin manipulated a lot of people including doctors
so they were able to have det lee kill chi kook and sneak Seo Joon and kill Yo Han like that.

But the two cases where bong yi almost killed Yo Han and then the Jung Man ho (father of soo jin) killed his best friend woo who lied to cover his son's crimes
like even regular people are easily entering a room and killing people or attempting to kill

It seems to me that PD choi didn't realize she also contributed to the death of YoHan. If she hadn't sent that video of brain transplant of han seo jun, he would never have been asked to perform a brain transplant and the government would not have known.

no writing is flawless
though I have to say im surprised how well the writer tied everything together
It didn't feel like there were plot holes, just a lot of unrealistic things that you have to ignore..

there were a lot of debate topics in here like
1) nature vs nurture debate
Could jaehoon/ba reum change if he was nurtured properly even though by nature he had psychopathic gene?
He only killed animals and initially it was out of curiosity (and I'm more curious about this part gonna retouch it later). He even said to his birth mom that he never intended on killing Jae Min
But he was told twice, that he was born a monster (by birth mom and adoptive mom). He had no one else to turn to so he prayed not to be a monster. No one helped him to try to nurture him. That woman who pretended to be his aunt didn't even try just followed her orders and saw him as a monster killing animals.
But even if he is nurtured is his killer gene completely suppressed? SooHo was his trigger but if it wasn't sooho it could've been someone else?
are people really born to kill? If you tell someone they're a monster by birth cause of their genes, will that contribute to their killings? Cause if you tell someone that then after killing someone they'll use the "I was born this way."
Back to animal killings.
When exactly did Jae Hoon start killing animals?
Because his elementary school self in ep 1 with rat and snake, I don't think they showed that kid killing animals. It was when he got older right? Did somehow seeing Hong Ju squish that rat trigger something in him more? And it caused him to start killing animals? Did hong ju saying the rat has a dirty brain make him curious?
they did some foreshadowing with that scene. she told him that he'll end up like the snake.
he pretty much did cause i remember them saying in last ep, ba reum got headaches and heard mouse sounds and was in agony?

then they introduced the abortion law in start and the end.. but it's like is abortion the right choice?people saw that yo han also had that gene but he was that 1% genius

ba reum/jae hoon's character is so complex it's hard to feel a certain way. the writing turned him into a pitiable character and it just feels only he has that complex character development
he received the punishment of the crimes he committed and i felt like he was gonna say to bong yi if she would marry him if he reincarnates to a normal person in the last ep.

also there's a lot of sci-fi here. someone else's brain being transplanted isnt real
so it's assumption that yo han's goodness took over and made ba reum feel human
that scene where he was repenting and hugged his younger self felt like they were implying he could have changed and have emotions if he was nurtured properly, maybe not have emotions but learn them like in FoE? i dont understand why no one thought of sending the kid to therapy and counseling to teach him about emotions and what's right or wrong.

that scene where young jae hoon was saying along the lines where he killed someone as a kid...was fake? cause later they say he didnt kill an actual person till he was an adult & met soo hoo. that's the one thing they distorted? nvm, i saw the special..it was older ba reum who goes to church and says he killed a man and his prayer was never answered...so the drama follows how he wouldnt murder if he hadnt found sooho cause he never killed anyone before then.
but the special is kinda confusing too..seems like it showed he wanted someone to stop him when he killed priest ko.

rain would be a better judge the feedback he gave each crew for his song
i liked mike song's feedback during the mega crew
people like them i wouldn't mind if they were judges

i expected ygx to be eliminated i feel bad for them, cause their mega crew mission was limited, not much you can do with a basketball theme, they could have picked a different song and dance and it would be unrelated to their basketball theme (it felt like some groups did that and did better) but never know the judges response
but glad they got eliminated as well seems like their self-esteem was gone throughout the show and they felt pressurized they can be like prime kingz release their own content without any limitations
maybe 1-2 people on their team are like freestyle dancers type of people, but the rest are choreographer type of people so the results in dropout battle were to be expected, WDBZ did overwhelming and better intense battles?
altho i do think in leader battle it should've been a tie, deukie didn't do that bad to lose 0-3 votes

I'm always a silent reader. But these YGX supporters on every social media handle commenting on the public being…
I don't think there's any need to be that harsh to the crews. It's okay to criticize them, but we don't know how Ep 6 will turn out.
I'll be honest i saw some clips although cant see whole performance
the mega crew mission from ygx was disappointing. But the song is not everyone's taste, dunno if they chose that themselves or were assigned that song like the choreo copy mission . So i think they might be at risk for elimination. In SWF, YGX seemed to lack in mega crew & men/women mission.
I think just jerk & WDB, ambitious were like my top three from what I've seen in mega crew. I don't remember the other crews that really well.
You can also blame mnet for always trying to paint ambitious and ygx with an "ill-fated relationship" and creating drama causing supporters to act that way too
and they made it feel like ygx got robbed cause ambitious "copied" their thumbs up and changed their choreo completely after seeing ygx's in end of ep 4.
