There are so many things they left unanswered. Did Mirae's friend end up dating the Wooyoung? Did the parents…
Well, the husband hit his wife, so she rightfully rejected his half-assed attempt at a reconciliation lol. I prefer to think that WY and HJ eventually end up together, but if they wanna make a second season where he learns that love at first sight won't get you anywhere when a wonderful girl is already right in front of you? I'm here for it!

A beautiful and fitting ending, with Mi Rae learning to love herself and Kyung Seok learning to care about things because of her. Soo Ah got a new start thanks to angels in her life like Eun and MR, and even side characters like Tae Hee and Hye Sung got to throw out the trash that are their exes. I wonder when I'll find another drama that I love as much as this one.
The issue with the clothes is not just that it was exposing for them to wear them, it's about why they had to…
Just here to say you're exactly right. Wearing whatever you want is your right. Wearing something because your body is selling someone else's product is totally different.
I'm not gonna speak for others, but for me--it was kind of offputting cuz he should have said he liked her for…
Exactly! It's not like it's wrong to like someone's looks at first. But to say that to a girl like Mi Rae, who struggles so much with inner vs. outer beauty... Shows that he still doesn't know her well enough to love her the way she deserves. Compare that to how carefully Kyung Seok avoided discussing her looks both in front of her (ep 7 in the locker room) and even when she's not there (ep 12 at the bar).
It's heartbreaking to see Mi Rae still going through these things. I hope this drama helps realise what bullying…
By product placement, do you mean the pills Soo Ah took in the episode? I don't think that's meant to promote them - rather it's meant to show that even the so-called "natural beauty" comes at a punishing price. I believe this will tie into Soo Ah's story in the upcoming episodes, where we see that she is hurting in order to achieve supposed perfection too.
I don't know why people are hating on Mi Rae when she's such a refreshing character. I for one, like that she's…
Totally with you on this! I love that the show is taking the time to believably untangle her insecurities and separate her "true" self from the one that hides away because of society's expectations. I may whine that I'm not gonna get as much of my OTP as I would otherwise, but I'm really happy that they're not short-changing her character development in favor of more cutesy couple scenes lol.
Gangnam Beauty is #1 right now? Well, hello, let's celebrate that! Honestly, this show is making me so giddy right now, even though it often deals with painful subjects. I hope the second half is as good as the first half has been!
The main girl is a good actress, but the guy is a different story... His acting is so bad I can't continue to…
I think he's inexperienced for sure, but I definitely don't think his acting is bad. Each to their own, of course, but I feel like he's doing a good job of conveying plenty of emotions while sticking to kyung seok's cold and calm exterior. (And for the record, I do not care about actor's appearances when it comes to my evaluations, lol, I promise!)
